The Olympic Committee and Canadians officials said the accident wasn't due to a flaw in the track, but to Nodar's inexperience. The track itself likely wasn't flawed, but the fact that a luger could possibly exit, fly off of, the course and strike a fixed steel beam certainly demonstrates negligence in track design, construction and safety. Nodar was not an inexperienced luger. He had been training for several years. His father was an Olympic luger, who I believe, won a medal. RIP Nodar!

@XTheRealMixX Yes you can, at this point the body isn't in rigor mortis so you could move it anyway you wanted. The mouth is open because it opens and closes naturally with movement of the body. Many people die with their eyes open but you'd never see a body with it's eyes open because they glue them shut. And I do know about this because I have attended post-mortems and am a nurse.

I lost any remaining faith in religion last year when our local Pastor REFUSED to hold my Mum’s funeral service at ‘his’ church- due to her ‘moral failings’.

Mum worked as a prostitute for many years in our town. It really doesn’t bother me at all- she was a fantastic (single) mother & did a great job of bringing me & my bro up. In the USA, the coffin is open during the showing and usually closed in Church. Though most American Protestants have the funeral at the cemetary. In Orthodox and Catholic churches, most of the time the body is brought to the church for a requiem service, then the last rites at the cemetary.
