Thank you I have another issue with my MacBook running tiger 10.5 I had forgot my password and had got on from someone on here. Now my MacBook starts up just like out of box asks for all the info and once you have done that it tells u it creating ur account and then it starts over asking for info. Thats what I thought, but sometimes it played in a reduced window for some reason. Wish I had left the camera rolling so you would've saw system setup come afterwards.
I'll still reply as the comment made it to my email. I always Wipe out the HD and fresh install.. I just don't feel right upgrading over an older OS, to me it just performs better when everything fresh.

I have TimeMachine running but I have yet done a restore with it cuz of my old habits.
Also don't get confused with update CD's of Tiger for $4.99 ( Or in that Price range that seems to good to be true ) on ebay. Those are just software updates Of the OS that the sellers may have downloaded from Apple's site & burned them onto a DVD.... Anybody can do that , even u'rself for free.

PPC has actually been lucky to get supported this far after all the years that they have since been discontinued. A-Lot of unneeded PPC codes get installed onto intel macs when it's not needed. But there are still some high end G4's and G5's out there that are still fast enough to run snow leopard but they get cut off.

actually they have hacintosh (hacked mac os) for leopard already, if you know how to get you hands on it you only need to be a semi-hacker to install it.
not really, youre right about the "hackintosh" idea, but you dont need a hacker...just a version of an x86 mac os copy modified for a pc based computer and a free partition on your HD thats formatted in fat32

And Mac OS X is possibly one of the best operating systems out there. Beautiful case designs that are a work of art, the most user-friendly interface that ever existed, and some great hardware on the inside. When Apple switched to Intel processors, I wanted a Mac. Period. I can tri-boot Vista, OS X Leo, and Ubuntu or Fedora without any problem and I don't have to worry about upgrades. I've been using Windows for a long time, but I'm just sick of the bullshit.

Same here, I play the sims 2 on my laptop sometimes but I don't let it control me. Also I bought this laptop MYSELF from bestbuy. I saved up and went and got it myself. You said I can't afford a mac. If I save I can but my parents can easily buy a mac if they wanted. But we hate macs. We are sticking to windows XP and Vista.
