I tried it the first time and I almost ate the whole loaf myself!! It's so amazingly good! I didn't have whole fat yogurt so used non fat yogurt, it still turned out so yummy! So of course i had to make it again and again...took it to work and everyone loved it!

I like Barefoot Contessa and still do. The comments are so unfair people are so quick to judge without knowing all the facts. Maybe it was a miscommunication.... am I the only one who thinks this story sounds fishy? What 6 year old wants to meet a professional chef as a dying wish ? I believe this mother could be living her dreams through her sick child. Most six year old don't even know thier way around a damn kitchen except the cookie jar.

"Ok to start of with a stick of butter, 2 cups of sugar; and you just want to cream it together in the mixer. @jbrodu yes but so what - she's a DIVA! I used to watch her programme o UK Food Channel every day. I'm a hopeless cook myself but I just loved watching Ina. Loved her relationship with Jeffrey as well. He only came home at weekends, got well fed on Friday & Sat and she made up all his evening meals for the rest of the week. Ideal relationship. Wonder what she would make of our Delia or Nigella?
