Zeppelin's studio work was fantastic, but their live shows weren't nearly as good. The Who, however, were Amazing in the studio and even better live. Not to mention the songwriting. Townshend was one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century and anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves. His lyrics were light years beyond anything Zeppelin was doing.

JPJ, although massively underrated, can perfectly keep up to John Entwistle (just two different styles) and was an extremely talented multiinstrumentalist, and John Bonham is a fuckin LEGEND (so is Keith Moon). And NEVER EVER say that Zeppelin's live performances were lame. They fucking kicked ass, checkout stuff from 1969-1973.

John Paul Jones played the organ with his right hand, and kicked bass on the keys with his left hand. That's why the bass line is kind of simple when he plays keys. He also did this on a quite a few more songs live, and on recordings. He is a great musician, as are ALL of them!
