I bet your mate will kick your ass on a drag strip...have a think about launch/traction/gearing/fear..etc I can beat bikes too in my done up STI and i also have a R1,does not compare especially past 150kph.I can see RWD not doing it, but theres lots of AWD cars that will fry bikes all day long,even with HEAD starts. You should have typed "9 scnd RWD car" for accuracy.
We can squeeze 800hp out of 4cyl motors in AWD cars that will get 100% traction with the right tyre & setup. WEEEE
He is stating his car does a 10.7@138mph, everyone knows that every jap 1000 bike out there on the road say from 2004 onwards does on average a low 10 sec 1/4 given theres a rider that knows what his doing!
So to pull away from a gsxr 1000 so easily on the street dosnt make 2 cents.
The very reason a bike only does a low 10 stock and not a 9 is cos unlike car they cant hold on limiter and drop it. So give the bike a rolling start, its goin to blitz it even more!!

Hmm lil strange..
A friend of ours has a HQ ute with 496inch big block running 300hp nos kit. Car ran a 9.2 down the quarter mile spinning the treads.
I raced him rolling on the street with my Yammi R1 05 mod jus with basic exhaust, filter, and geared and he was seeing my tail light.
He was very imprest to say the least. So either your cars a 8 second car or that bikes infact a 600 or very old or very poorly ridden?
A stock gsxr 1000 WILL run around the low 10's. rolling it'll beat a 9 scnd car
