@crazychelle15 I think its been decades because for a couple of decades people only listened to the great bands and songs because the big media outlets supported them. Now the industry has a way of producing their own stars just the way they like them and most people don't realize that what makes a song truly great is the soul that's within it. Simply put the world is relying on others to choose for them who they should like and dislike. So lets not become one of them and good music will live.
@lurgertor The music industry has been doing this at least since the 80's. You could find a few bands that made it the top of the industry without that garbage, but it's been there a long time. Perfect example: The Black album by Metallica and everything they released after it as well. There's plenty more, but that's the easiest one off the top of my head.
Hinder are one of those bands that actually get better as they get less popular, if that makes sense.. Each one of their albums has got better as they sell less and less.
