  • Aww they're so cute!

  • This video is a favorite on Bishkek

  • Lol I'd put my arms out and be like "what?! What'd I do to you? Meaniehead!" haaa!

  • I don't know whats louder , the blowing or your breathing

  • that happened to me when me and my friend were sitting in the weeds but we were only 10 feet away. it was so funny

  • What was your wind like? I was always told the snorting was to clear their nostrils so they can smell u better but she looked like she was being pretty aggressive .

  • Snort! Boom! - problem solved. "White" deer - i.e., albino or leucistic - carry recessive genes and are detrimental to the vitality of the herd and should be shot.

  • @redlegagent believe it or not it isnt allowed in many states to shoot a white (albino) deer. I totally agree with you though. Not to mention the thing is going to die anyhow its an easy target for other predators.

  • Is Darth Vader filming, or what?

  • what if she's protecting the white deer?

  • she was prolli wunderin what the fuck was breathin so loud haha, i had a doe blow under the stand for like 2 minutes and she just stopped n hung around for an hour after she scared every other deer outta there

  • she's like "i dare you to come over! my bf is over there and he will kick your ass!"

im assuming that is why she hadnt ran. D:

    she's a brave one

  • Screw this sound.. Deer are eating my crops. The. On top of that I try to go back there to keep them out and they scare me away??? He'll no man! Someone give me advise. And yes these deer have charged me before so please no one say, "they won't Attack", because I have already been through it.

  • @domandape Do you have an aluminum baseball bat?

  • @domandape fire a gun or throw a firecracker at them lol

  • hey when deers snort at you, does that mean go away or stay still or what

  • @danielthewowmaster it means they smell sumthin that aint right and for all the other deer to run

  • yeah shes just warning others that theres danger around

  • i hate hearing that around me . i really do but they never run off i hear that shit alot though

  • lol, the reason its blowing is 1. to warn all other deer there is danger, 2. to see if you move first, so she knows your a threat 3. and if you notice, sometimes they stamp there foot, trust me this is the worst thing to hear. first you are drawing back on a big o buck tthen you here th blowing noise and you already know your fucked!!!!

  • dude the reason why it sees you is cause your breathing is soooo damn heavy

  • Nice job for being spotted friend. :D

  • your lying, your actually rubbin one out watching that poor doe

  • busted ur wanker

  • something how that little sound can travel through the woods like a bullet yes i hate that sound also lol

  • I had 5 does in front of my tree stand,,, and a buck smelled me first, came running and sneezed 3 times ,,,, before running away with all de does......it was too dark to shoot......oh well, next time....

  • PMS

  • I was just out taking my evening walk in the woods where i see alot of deer, i realized i had forgot my sidearm i usually carry. Then I heard that exact grunt twice. Yes i was almost mr.poopy pants and promply turned around and booked it home.

  • I never knew that deer could hiss at you before. Thanks for the video

  • i love that snort sound......makes any deerhunter crap his shorts....kid u not...Can i get a thumbs up for meh fellow hunters!

  • Deer are very vocal, she is sending a warning out to others by barking and stomping the ground, maybe calling to a fawn. She senced danger and was telling others, she was not going to attack or bite you

  • What's she doing? Does that snort mean she's pissed off and wants you gone? Like you're in her territory??

  • @tamaninja00 she has smelled or seen him. its her way of warning the entire forest....danger run.

  • oh yeah, she really hates you, snorting and she was stamping her feet, you could have been run over lol

wow, your lucky to see a white one, a ghost of the forest as the natives call them.

  • just this last year when I was out hunting a pair of does came up right behind and to the left of me and they were probably about half that distance hissing and stomping at me. I didn't dare move a muscle haha =P

  • Oh my. I think those are the cutest animals EVER. =] and a lot of you have horrid grammer. this is coming from someone in junior high o.o

  • @Xx13LoathingLexy13xX Actually, it's spelled GRAMMAR.

  • Didn't catch it before I commented. My mistake.

  • *grammar*

  • thats one noise i hate to hear when i'm huntin.

its strange to me cause that deer hasnt ran away after blowing.

  • Yea I was very surprised she didn't run, normally when you get caught and they starting blowing its game over.

  • @edstudd22 it saw you but couldnt smell you

  • @edstudd22 I had a deer get with in about 2 yards of me and start doing this. She just stood there, so I sat and waited for her to move and then I got up and walked away. Why would she do that?

  • @smiguet Typically, it's the doe that do this, and if they stand their ground like that, it's usually a good indicator they have young nearby.

  • @RiftZM I will occasionally take deer corn to an area where hunting is illegal (usually during the winter;we have really HARSH winters here) .I don't wait around for them, I just drop an open bag and leave.I leave bird bells and squirrel treats too.

Anyway, one day I poured the corn out and a doe came right up to me (within about 3-4 feet) and made this noise. I just slowly got out of the way.I had no idea what it meant.I wasn't going to challenge her....lol.

  • @edstudd22 Maybe she has a fawn nearby and she's trying to scare you off. ?

  • @darkevil155

Well, it could be that her offspring is nearby, but not close enough to follow her if she decided to book it, or it could be that her sleeping grounds are nearby, so she's trying to be territorial. These two hypothesis may not necessarily be the correct one for this situation, but it's an idea.

  • @darkevil155 she had some little bambies around in there somewere is y she didnt run away

  • were i hunt there is an extreamly fucked up buck doe ratio so i hunt doe not buck but if a nice one like an 8 point walks out ill shoot him but ill let spikes and shit walk unlike almost everyone else there (depends on whats in the cooler already)

  • i had 8 does do that to me today

  • mmmmm....backstraps =)

  • Not a white deer its a whitetailed deer lol. and its not snorting its blowing to let other deer know there is danger but you were pretty close nice video by the way!

  • no sharpshooter i wouldnt hesitate to put a 12 guage slug thru her skull if the fawn was old enough to take care of itself

  • @cokeforcoke only if you know that is earling doe.

  • Am I the only hunter that get the urge (once in a while) to put a bullet in between a does' eyes when she's blowing at you as you're sitting still? :p

  • @sharpshooter0508 - why would you get the urge to put a bullet btw it's eyes. it's just doing what a deer does. you are the one hunting it. I think what you are trying to say is you just enjoy blowing deer's heads off

  • @originalrecoil

Clearly, you don't hunt, and you don't understand the *urge* I am referring to. Allow me to elaborate: When hunting, it is common for does (typically older ones) to be more keen of their surroundings than bucks, so they pick up on human presence faster. When they are aware of human presence, they'll *snort* or blow, warning all the other deer to run away. This is why many decide to shoot these older does over many other deer; to keep the rest of the deer from being so jittery.

  • So I am not saying I enjoy blowing a deer's head off; when hunting does, it is also common to shoot them in the head to save the rest of the meat. So there you have it. I hope this explanation helped you understand the actual concept behind my original comment; if you'd like to discuss this further or any other hunting-related subjects, I'd be happy to oblige. If not, then I wish you a very good day. :)

  • @sharpshooter0508 Thanks for the info. Iam new at hunting and very excited!

  • @Deee36

Just let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know, I'm always willing to share my hunting knowledge with those willing to pick up on this ancient way of life. Good luck!

  • You need to hunt for food not to murder a deer for ur enjoyment...that is poaching and u disgrace the world of hunting.

  • @jumpyjedi

Don't 'jump' to conclusions, jumpy. :P If you actually took the time to read my previous comments, you'd realize that I DO hunt for the meat; I NEVER hunt for sport. Calling me a poacher contradicts all my legal hunting, restoration, and conservation efforts, as well; get the facts straight before you go accusing others of something. :)

  • @jumpyjedi amen to that

  • I had that happen to me in the woods 3rd day after opener, it just got dark and all I could hear were the blows and the hoofs pounding. Pretty freaky.. :)

  • i wlda ran O_O!

  • that wasnt a snort that was a blow, does dont snort they bleat, they blow when they are spooked or startled by something.

  • Quartering toward to broadside, nice, lol.

And the Albino (only 1 in 30,000 deer usually) was quartering away.

  • settle down dude it's just a doe.

  • lol no shit

  • still....a doe can kill someone by pounding on a persons head by the hooves.

  • oh yeah or it could shove ur head up their ass and soffocate you...or bite you on the neck and rupture your jugular and bleed you to death..lol

  • Thats really cool! We have a video of a deer snorting at us too!

  • Thanks I was surprised to see a white deer, and to have a video camera was a bonus.

  • very cool the white deer was neat...

  • cool vid i think you have been spotted lol

  • cool video
