Sometimes the human rights act might throw up the odd case where we are annoyed due to look holes, but the guiding principle of this act should never be questioned.. its one of the best laws we have.

I 100% agree with the European courts on this one. By allowing him to be tried with torture evidence (which is unreliable) then Europe is essentially condoning the use of torture, and that is not what we are about.

I personally hold significant disagreements with these women. I used to have a very open-minded approach about some of the cultural customs within Islam. However it seems as though the Burka or the Hijab are required of Muslim women - in order to protect them against rape, along with a view that men can't control themselves around women 'that don't cover up'. I 100% agree with the European courts on this one. By allowing him to be tried with torture evidence (which is unreliable) then Europe is essentially condoning the use of torture, and that is not what we are about.

CONT- And rightly so. Who covers their entire self if they have nothing to hide? Whereas if one wears a burqa, its for religious purposes and they refuse to take it off as their religion forbids it. Many refrain from staring and judging in fear that they will be called racist, and most police dont question in fear of infringing on religious freedom. It should be banned. Am i allowed to walk into a bank with a balaclava on? No. We let them come here but then give them the right to hate us, flout the rules, and reject our culture. If they don't like it here, go away! If we went to their home countries and spouted hate and did not integrate at all, we would be kicked out or worse. I personally hold significant disagreements with these women. I used to have a very open-minded approach about some of the cultural customs within Islam. However it seems as though the Burka or the Hijab are required of Muslim women - in order to protect them against rape, along with a view that men can't control themselves around women 'that don't cover up'. I really think that is terrible.
