Can I take my telus prepaid phone sim and put it in this? Will it work. I love my LG... But that's all they have prepaid that is good with Android. Not much options with prepaid, every damn phone should have prepaid option. I only use it for work calls.

@TheRealTroyy If it is not a micro sim, you can always cut it down to size, some people sell something similar to hole punchers, but for sim cards. BE CAREFUL THOUGH

@baiskbrigade: It does. You get about 85% of what you would if you did have the sim card in. And the extra apps depends in the generation. Basically, the changes will be that you get "music", "phone", "messaging" apps which are different from an iPod Touch. The messaging app and phone app don't do anything. The music app has videos and you music. And yes everything works except the 2 mentioned.

@BasikBrigade Yes. This is the other reviewer, writing this, but I have experience. I had a 1st gen iPod Touch (no camera, speakers, mic, etc.) and when my grandfather (he had the 1st gen iPhone) got the 3G, he gave me the old one. When it is deactivated, you can use it like an ipod touch, except for the extra icons. It will preform the same without a sim card as a deactivated iPhone, so yes you can. Me careful though, no sim card means that it will KILL you battery because it is looking for one

I like the video so im gonns comment on it..A regular full sim can fit in the i4, you have to cut down the same size as a micro sim. A smart friend of mine did this with an full size sim and cut to the same size n shape as a micro..Try it works!

@maraljam Unless the AT&T phone uses a designated micro sim slot, it will not fit. You can buy an adapter to make a micro sim fit into a regular one.

@aragorn1014 If you had an iPhone before, just activate your iPhone 4 by calling AT&T (the sim card only holds cellular data). If you had a different phone, go to an AT&T store, and they can transfer all of your sim information.

@KTStarbuckACE All iPhone 4's come with sim cards pre-installed (because of the new sim card type). No matter what country you are in, Apple does that so there is no confusion about the new card. Now I am not sure about Telus (I live in the US) but with AT&T you have to call to activate.

@Forsale8859 The information that is held on the sim card for the iPhone 4 is the cellular service data (allows you to call, go on the 3G, etc. on the iPhone). When the iPhone 4 comes brand new, there is nothing on the sim card (you have to call AT&T to activate it) except your number and access data to AT&T wireless network. The iPhone's memory itself holds the media (music, movies, apps, etc.), contacts and other phone features.
