In California you can take a dog in that you dont want and leave with a new one. Dirtybutt backyard breeders should all be jailed and forced to work in Animal Shelter in the death room so they can see where ALL of their pups end up. @Blueknightex i suggest doing your research before making such a judgmental comment. any dog can be dangerous, even small dogs. it's all based on how they are raised. aggressive pit bulls are that way because their owners didn't know what they were doing. there are no dangerous breeds, only dangerous owners.

@IHateThatMonkey don't be ignorant. that's like saying rat terriers are vicious because they were bred to hunt and kill small animals. it's true, if they aren't properly trained they will attack and kill bird, mice, rats and anything else they get their little jaws on. same with dobermans, they were bred as guard dogs, . most dogs were bred for a purpose, but their love for their human companions can overcome those instincts if you take the time and effort.

@Namari944 if you were at a farm and you were bitten by a goose would you blame the farmer for not taking care of it? i would'nt because geese are naturally defensive birds and it just thought i was trying to kill it's family. pitbulls are naturally aggresive so you would be trespassing in it's territory so it would do what a goose would do even worse. yes in many cases it is the owner's fault but most of the time it's for not putting it on a leash in the back yard when you have company over
