Just wished he would have given credit to Tony Blauer through his spill at some point since this is pretty much taken from Tony's research and system.
@00crodgers00 He always does at the beginning of all his seminars, at least everyone I've been too, it's usually how he opens his seminars by thanking Blauer, I've even heard him say that Senshido wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Blauer. This is a clip not the entire seminar. Why are all the Blauer people so paranoid and protective all the time it seems to be everywhere I see the guy's name it follows by someone having ripped him off?
@kdbilr3z I never said that he ripped him off, I made a comment in regards to the content present. Not withstanding that the system and it's teacher are taking his research and "Blender / Shredder" and calling it his own, is a little misgiving. If you look at Dimitri's own bio he never even mentions the time he spent with Blauer.
Also endorsing a copy cat protective gear knock off doesn't help his image much.
@00crodgers00 The problem with Blauer is he believes he owns the monopoly in self defence, according to him everyone including Thompson, MacYoung, Franco, Dimitri and a host of others ripped him off. Always the victim for someone who teaches people not to be victims. I own a Spartan suit, like Senshido, both surpass Blauer's products. He maybe the originator but these guys improved on the original making the original obsolete. Improvement is no longer knock off, it's improvement.
@00crodgers00 & get your facts straight, check out dimitrI's Senshido site, check out the acknowledgements, blauer's the first one there. Not enough for an ego like blauer's though I imagine since other's are also in dimitri's acknowledgements. I also own several of dimitri's materials including his book and blauer is the first thanked there as well. I never understood the incessant whining for credit, it's always been there. Insecurity perhaps? blauer knows he's been surpassed n it kills em.

@00crodgers00 From dimitri's senshido site: "The most influential individual in my martial training has been Tony Blauer. I trained diligently with him for 3 years and quickly became his protégé. Tony also taught me to how to scientifically dissect and anatomize a fight from every perspective. Through him I learned the dos and don'ts of running a school and a business." so where's the problem?
