i have been on 5 cruises in total and ive been on this ship 2wice. its an amzing ship we sailed out of new york every single staff was amazing princess cruise lines are the bbest by far. im only 13 but this cruise ship is great dont listen to pepole saying its rubish ther lieing its an amzing cruise i would abvise people to go on it or another princess ship.

dont go on any princes cruises i just got back from one it was fun but the custamer service sucked and my sister got motion sickness so they quarneneted het for 2 days she couldent go out side, go on carnival there better

2. they dont put people in quarentine for motion sickness, otherwise over half the people on the ship would be quarentined.

They are fun, but you may want to bring a friend, as parents can be rather boring company at times. Most cruise lines allow a 3rd or 4th person in each state room for about 1/3 of the price for the first two passengers. Most lines also have group activities for kids and teens as well. The internet cafe is very slow (satellite), so plan on being off the net for most of the trip.

Good point. Actually I do avoid the high-kiddie-season. Cancun has more than bars...you can escape to do some deep sea fishing, check out the mayan pyramids, scuba...mostly off the beaten path. My mother-in-law lives there and she takes me to places there are few tourists...secret and cool little places. I don't like commercialization either but that's precisely why I don't like cruise ships.

I just think the hype of cancun is the youth going to get drunk IMO, Iam 18 myself and don't drink so its doesent sound very intresting to me, nor is Amsterdam for the same reason. I like being secluded and roughing it in the woods.

How was it was it fun for you as it was for us. It's a step up in class from Carnival. Carnival Glory was very nice as well but I enjoyed the Horizon and the Caribe Room for dining. I didn't like how small the bathrooms were and the hallways. But overall it's nice we will try celebrity or royal next time.

Nope, actually we sailed 2005. we booked the eastern iten. but due to a tropical depression that later became a hurricane we had to do the western. I like the Eastern iten better but we had loads of fun anyway in Ocho Rios. Went parasailing. That is a must do. Did u dine at the Specialty Restaurants?
