The D2h is made for sports. Coloring and such are only good for when the areas are bright. I use it mainly for documentary.

I'm going to sell my D60 for the D2Hs. It has lots and lots advantages and 4MP are really enough.

Last time i went out with my D60 is set the quality to 4MP, to look if the res would be enough... and.. YES, it is, of course :D

I couldn't see any difference, okay the 4MP pic was a bit sharper, but I had it autoset to "vivid", if I didn't so, it was comletely the same

do you think it's a clever idea?

I thought to get a D2x, but MP don't matter, but less Noise in high ISO so D2hs?

The resolution is more than enough if you're comparing it with a 12 mega pixel digital camera.

That's the auto white balance sensor. It it said that white balance metering in this camera is slightly better than the D2H.

im thinking of upgrading camera at the moment,from my d100,would you recommend this as a cheap upgrade,i dont print anything bigger than a3,so not really botheresd by mega pixels!

just wondering if the exposure and autofocus are any better than my d100

speed, built quality, fast af, fastest shutter lag, fastest blackout time, faster burst, more command dials and buttons on body... it's a pro.

the d300 still has afew advantages over the d2hs though.

anyway, i need to buy the camera before i start choosing which camera to use as main and back up!

the D300 has better AF than the D2H/s

also its got better quality and you CAN shoot 8fps with the D300 using the MBD10 + ENEL4a battery combination, (8fps won't work with the ENEL3e)

the D300 is a better choice

believe me, no one uses the D2H anymore (professionally)

@ichirootaniguchi The Lancashire Evening Post uses them - they'll have their money's worth out of them . It's more than adequate for that paper and very fast .

I'd have the AF , Menu , Battery & Controls off that camera in a shot ! - I use a D1x
