the scene dont get money for sharing the movies!! The actors get millions of dollars for their movies, why do they deserve so much more than someone else?

There is alot of jobs that are harder than being an actor, so give less to the actors and more to the people behind the camera................

Some movies makes a billion $ in the cinema, dont fucking tell me they piracy kills the movie industry.. Give more to the independent film makers..

Xronex... I work in the film business and I'm a bottom of the ladder grunt who works 18 hour days with brutal schedules to make ends meet. And when there is nothing shooting, I'm out of work. All freelance, gig to gig. Using "rich Hollywood" as an excuse to steal intellectual property (movies) is no different that being okay with stealing cars because the CEOs of automotive giants earn hundreds of millions. Stars+Studio Execs = less than 1% of the filmmaking workforce.

@howler77 if a movie makes 20,000,000 million profit compared to 100,000,000 million profit has no affect to how much you get paid or work in your job. The movie industry in general is bullshit hours, as for grueling work, trade apprentices work just has hard if not harder then you do. You choose your line of work hoping to move up the adder and make a peace of that profit. Piracy has nothing to do with you, your too far down the ladder.

Bands only make a minute amount of money from sales, most of the money they make come from touring and from selling merch.

Actors and Directors get paid no matter what and their job security isn't based on box office revenue but rather on popularity and awards. If they want some money from the sales they have to invest their own money in the production process.

The only people making money off all of this is the corporation that yes ironically, pay these people to do such films. But they make MORE than enough money, internet piracy is but a dent in their figures when considering how much money they make... it's really ridiculous.

Changes, yes but laws aren't going to affect anything, you push onto society and society pushes back. They'll have to find a way to work with the public and not against them.

There is good alternative to CDs, you make a tour and ta-da money. For movies, people just enjoy going to theater, I actually stopped enjoying it when I watched Cloverfield in theater made me nautious and the DvDRip by aXXo made the movie watchable. They always have money, no matter what. Look at the box office. Hannah montana made 36 million the first day. FUCK!
