netflix has the entire series, plus the three miniseries that ran afterwards.... a warning, though... the miniseries are not nearly as good as the TV show.

This is brillient! I'm so glad you decided to do this- The Christy book is AWESOME and I love the series, but the DID change the story quite a bit... I wish it had run for at least one more season so they could have had a better chance to reconcile the storylines. This is great though! I hope you do a few more... :-)

dancers the person that died ...he is a member of the o'teal family. he was one of their ancestors he had been in a cave dead for a long time...i love the christy series but alot of it is fiction also, my family is from del rio aka el plano and lemon gap aka cutters gap is beautiful,also it wasnt filmed in del rio it was filmed in townsend because the crew trucks couldnt get to all the needed areas of lemon gap aka cutters gap

Thank you so much! I was surprised and pleased at how well it came together, too. I've always thought it such a shame that they never did cover the end of the book in the series. On the other hand, I don't think I could have dealt with Fairlight dying, so maybe it's for the best, after all.

Thank you so much! I actually just rewatched the episodes and reread the book at the same time, and was astonished at what a *good* job they did at following parts of the book. Granted, the Margaret thing was not the smartest move, but she had TB, so they could have killed her off later. But my least favorite episodes are the ones I feel go against the style of the book - The Hostage and Second Sight - so I do agree with you, in that way.

WOW amazing it so is the last chapter of the book. I just wish the last "scene" where neil smiles and all was just a bit longer it cuts off so quick

Thanks so much! Yeah, I actually wished I could have found better clips for all of Neil's shots in that last sequence, but I was pretty limited by the show footage. Maybe if I can bring myself to watch the movies, I'll be able to remake this one, using some of those shots.

Thank you! And wow, I can't imagine memorizing the whole chapter, though I've always said that Christy has the best last chapter and the best last line of any book I've ever read. It's so satisfying, on a deep level. Rereading it a few weeks ago, I was as moved as the very first time - thus, this vid. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
