Just a Phase , and Aqueous Transmission are indeed 2 great songs.

Having different song style for each album is one of Incubus's strong points.Their "ability in divesity" makes Incubus an awesome and fantastic band.

I love the variation of styles, and in my opinion, having the same stuff every new album isn't fun and interesting, it gets boring.

I think Brandon's idea to record in a castle or some kind of dark isolated location would be awesome. My 2 other favorite bands, Linkin Park and U2 both recorded in a similar fashion (U2 = Unforgettable Fire, Linkin Park = Minutes to Midnight). Regardless, I cannot wait for the next incubus record, I have high hopes it'll be their best yet, although to exceed Morning View will be a test.

their next album is coming out in early 2010 but their newest release will be an incubus greatest hits album coming out next spring

he's good. the riffs he can compose are even more impressive then his ability to play itself...in my opinion. i don't know if i wouldn't say he's the most talented guitarist ever. i think you need to listen to some different music like Hendrix or Adam Jones from tool or Clapton or anything with Tom Morello. They are just alittle bit better than this guy...just a little bit.

I would just like to point out an important aspect of what you said. You said the riffs he composes are more impressive then his ability to play... you pretty much mean he is a good musician even if he not so much of a great guitarist (instrumentalist.) To me, people tend to overlook that in a musician/guitar player. So, good point.

I definitely wouldn't say that adam is better. his riffs aren't as interesting as mike's. i love tool. they're my third favorite band. but mike is my preference. to each his own, i suppose.(1. incubus, 2. dream theater, 3. tool)

I really don't think Tool and Incubus are comparable. They are both incredibly talented bands but both take you to totally different places. tool are lyrically deep and musically complex, mathematical even. Incubus are a lot more spontaneous and convey a totally different energy. Oranges and Apples.
