WOW what a Band. That song has always been 1 of my Favorites and they do it Justice. from the " Studio " version to the " Live " version.... It's All Good..... KUDOS to them for the Song!!!!!!

Are you serious? Just about every popular rock band or hip hop act does it live. Its as simple as setting up a unit on the rack or the sound board and setting the parameters so its subtle. They're not flawless but they do cover up a lot of rough singing.
Check out clips of Beijing olympics opening ceremony - you can hear the auto tune on the singers voices straight away. Kinda similar to the sound Rihanna gets or a lesser version of T-Pain.
The singer at the olympics doing their national anthem was lip syncing. The chinese admitted it. I'm not saying its not possible just saying its improbable that they used it here.

I'm guessing Shinedown is using a very very small amount of auto-tune (almost everyone does) and it was just unfortunate that when he was belting those notes towards the end, the auto-tuner disagreed with him slightly.

My Son died Christmas Eve 2001 and this song was played at his memorial. The intro dedicated to Dimebag reminds me of the tribute to my Son, Lincoln Peter Leland Maynard. Tomorrow is LP's Birthday and I dedicate this song to him today... Miss & Love you Son. RIP

Yeah, So all I have to say is. That I have the utmost respect for shinedown. Their music has so much heart and meaning put into it, that it's unreal. But on another note, The person that postedt his couldn't have recorded this.. I mean come on... What r u, like a professional camera man... Where was you setting, in a skybox roamer?? Seriously... There was like side angels and all kinds of shit in that video that couldn't be accomplished from even the front row.. Don't act like this is yours..

I had to sign up just to post this... we new dime, back when they started out in texas(Phil is a dickhead, but the man has a helluva voice.)dime was like family, and im so saddened that this shit happenned. its one of the most tragic things in music history, and he will be kept alive.he was the man.anyone who disses this shit needs to shut the fuck up. i want to meet the guys from shinedown, and shake evry one of their hands. they had more respect for dime than most of people have for thier moms
