Good try but there are a number issues.

The Ronaldo movie is not to shield the ball but to confuse the defender that the player is about to cut to the other side.

Also you he is showing to make this moves only with the same leg. Need to show youngsters to play and shoot using both feet at an early age.

the biggest issue about this video is not the technical teachings but the approach.

To teach kids to play like Brazilians, then you can't approach it by teaching skills, that is wrong. You need to set attitude and outlook for the game. I see the kids he is teaching I know they will never be like Brazilians by just watching them standing.. For Brazilians futbol is music, its dance, its drums and capoeira, its about flamboyance and joy, laughter, friendship, its a celebration of life.

Here is a challenge to this guy, would he bring drums to the field, with moms, kids and the neighborhood out having a good time just listening to drum beats, let others play around in laughter, food shared by everyone, others kick the ball around to the tune of the drums or trumpets, showing off their futbol skill to eachother and their elders, can he make futbol integral to the daily lives of the people. That is how Brazilians approach the game, specially common Brazilians.

Many of the moves are good, especially the Ronaldinho move, which very often tricks the defender.

Alltho, the Rivaldo move is not very good, becouse it requires that you can move your feets extremly fast, orelse the defender can reach the ball, becouse you dont protect it but let it stay right in front of you. I would not use it myself and i would not suggest using it.

I'm from Brazil and if you really want to develop your football skills , which in our lang is called DRIBLE. I recommend you to play futsal ( indoor football ) , since the field is smaller you need more skill to pass through the defenders.

Many Brazilian players have the futsal background ( robinho / ronaldinho etc... ) either that or they used to play at the street as a kid which needs a lot of skill too

Search "falcao futsal" here on YT to have an idea of the skill level involved on futsal

I think the idea is to give people advice and examples in what they need to PRACTICE themselves and what essentially the technique looks like.
