My stepfather nicknames my dog Stupid, and at the time I didn't get the reference, until years later when I saw the jerk.... .... ...man I had a laugh when I figured the joke out lol
i wonder if these will eventually displace the hdtv market for individual enthusiasts and whatnot such as gamers office workers due to their lightweight, portability, energy savings, lower cost, and electronic waste disposal minimization
Interesting though. Perhaps one day in the distant future. I don't see it likely for quite some time though. Video glasses have been around for 20 years and many people don't even know what they are. lol
I went into an electronics store looking for some video glasses, and the person I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about... ... ...I had to explain what video glasses are, to someone who sells electronics for a living.
Well XD I am a tecnology gek and this is the second time i saw this things (I remember i saw them in a rare electronic store, they had R2D2, ligfht sabers, all kind of weird electronic but cool stuff too, man it was like heaven XD) and I saw the video glases but they were for like 300 bucks =S and a normal TV was more afordable in those times, but now its a great chioce (now that i have money and work on my own, and do not depend on my dad lol) so i think im going to get one pair
Yeah, I'm going to get a pair too. I've been doing research on "eye phones" (which are now commonly referred to as video glasses), on and off for a year, and I found the best pair for it's price range. Take a look at Vuzix, com. The wrap 920 or iwear VR920's are pretty cool. But definitely take a look at the Wrap and iWear series, and find a pair that suites your needs. Personally I'm interested in getting a pair that supports head tracking, as I do want to use them for gaming too.
You don't want these glasses. The screen is crap. Check out my review of MYVU glasses. On of their other models are just like these. These are not good for gaming on.
300 for two mini LCD's and optical mirrors...... wow thats some massive mark up there. considering the parts cost a grand totel of 30 USD includeing the solder. and that asumeing you dont get cheap chinese parts.
lame

The glasses have a crappy screen. This ad is just typical misleading hype.

Does anyone else think of "The Jerk" and how Steve Martin lost his millions when everyone went cross-eyed using his product? LOL!

Those glasses must be bad for your eyes... but I'm sure MyVu has thought of that and sure there aren't any side-effects.
