big respect to all our black old school artist , music will never be the same just hope the next genaration will look back and see what effect they put in making music what it is and take it further without the slackness
Another wicked tune from the good old days. I saw Victor perform this at a Lovers Rock reunion at Ocean a few years back. I was at the front and was transformed back to the good old days within seconds of his first few notes. It was a fantaastic night with a great line up.
Much thanks and love for the links browninbbw! You have made me and many others very happy people. The summer BBQ is gonna feel even better wid these tunes dropping! Big respect!
Mis browninbbw why is it tht u have sooooooooooooo much sweet music i have been searching for this tune for so long an all i had to do was go on yr channel so in future if i cant find a specific tune at least i no whr to go
@sisterfoxy Bless sis... Just uploading those tunes that we used to rock to back in the day and reliving some memories. Hope you find a few more you like here.
@browningbbw Love this, always reminds me of my skool daze and going to early raves (7pm till 11pm, I felt so grown up then) at The Club, yes that is what it was called. 'The Club' At The Club we had good clean wholesome fun mixing with other teens, dancing the evening away in a safe enviornment. No bouncers at the door and no search policy & no alcohol. I always loved the songs Victor sang it was so us 80's kids, a cultural blend of our experiences as first generation young Black Britains
this still is a massive tune.. an tru seh victor mentions nuff clubs makes it even more special, brings back so many memories of raving back in the day... coming like he telling a story fa tru.. bless bbw
I just met the guy who was meant to be my husband when this came out. I later dumped because I was bored with him. (I know) I have regretted that decision always. My current squeeze is lovely though. (! lol)
I remember this one!!! It's been years since I've heard it.....still sounds fresh! Brings back some memories of my party days...well, I was a bit young but that's what we did back then...it was all about the music. It was a good time...nothing to fret about...just enjoying ourselves.
Always had the woman moving and singing..Saw him perform this Live in manchester one night, felt sorry for band...REWIND..PULLUP...was the order of night.Performance at end of night.....
thought this was earlier then 81, got this on an old casette tape recorded from David Rodigans roots rocker show, great song.

one of our greatest talents!

I almost thought this was a remake of the 1974 tune by The Pioneers, until I heard the melody start.
I think it's TERRIBLE that nobody OUTSIDE of the UK knows of this multi-talented artist. Respect for this one.

Multi talented is definitely correct...along with long lasting. Still performs now and gets the ladies screaming in the aisles.

Not to mention one of the few Reggae artists EVER to record for Epic on either coast.
