Yes its loud i seen one but its cold td1 from china dat speaker is more on base not like my md 96 from china but i can charge it using nokia charger batery is god up to 2 or 3 days usage

if you have the old, thick jack, get the CA-44 Adaptor for the speaker !

if you go to a shop, ask for N70, N95, N96 Chargers !! or the adaptors (Nokia CA-44)

@windmirror well what you hear in the video is really not what you get, meaning, the n70 i am using to record it has a very crappy microphone, thats y you hear a "farting sound" lol, but it gives proper bass. and YES ITS FRIKKEN LOUD.

I recently bought some Altec Lansing T515 Bluetooth wireless speakers and they are really loud, but the bass they make is not as real as MD-1, MD-1 are the beast, thats all i can say.

Altec is kinda Original Company made thing so its kinda Limited to its capability, MD-1 is a cheap build, so its go no limits, and it wont blow out. BTW altec lansing only does 20Hz to 20kHz, while MD1 does 1Hz to 20kHz [TESTED]

@windmirror oh they are both loud to ALMOST the same amount, but the altec is slightly got a unclear sound to it when compared with the MD1. MD-1 is more crystal while Altec is kinda like a phone speaker, (sharp and less bass).

Battery is good on the MD-1 cause its first of all, an internal one, while on the altec you need to keep replacing them and you don't get the portable feel cause you need to carry extra batteries.

Altec is almost twice as big as the MD1, and doesn't look portable enough to be held in a hand. (more like a Desktop Docking system.)

ALSO, the Diaphram of the Altec is exactly 1mm smaller than the MD-1, so there will be a difference in sound volume.

MD-1 is more stable with devices, while altec needs a special attachemet to work with 3.5mm jack devices (provided ofc).

Over all, I'd by the MD-1 if i had the choice, but i have both xD.

Very good videos! ever since watching this, i want one!! Ur videos are very descriptive, but you can make this better, just like exam the product in your hand infront of the camera, and just ad a narator voice or an over voice, with some text, and you have yourself a 100% profesional looking reveiw!

Are these louder then the MPS-100 Speakers (Think there Sony Erricson brand)

Or the MD-V3 speakers on Ebay, There som cheapy, but bassy, portable looking speakers.

@windmirror the md-v3 looks alright, seems to me as its just another make/ version/ edition/ remake/ copy/ rebuild/ lol/ of the speakers in the video...

i'd buy them if thats the only possibility...

but personally, i prefer speakers with open faces, like without the black covers on the speakers =D

not really, they do sound the right way, but the recording device, that is, the Nokia N70 phone is slightly changing the sound. even all the music has been changed a bit and what you hear in the video is not really what you get in real, the microphone of the phone is not sensitive enough for low frequencies.
