Can somone please tell me without any personal opinions, who (Gwen or Theresa) caused that much hatred between them b/c i im sure they just didn't start out wanting to kill each other!
@4eversamvsliz in the begining gwen and ethan were gunna get married then theresa became ivys assistent to get closer to ethan..the more time they spent together the more ethan started to fall for her and on the night of gwen and ethans wedding thats when ethan told gwen he doesn't love her he loves theresa and called the wedding off and gwen came after theresa with a baseball bat..and thats how it started:)
@poodle lova Yay! I am sooo glad someone agrees with me. I found Gwen's actions so out of character that I could not believe it. Even the other characters like Pilar and Rebecca were like "Wow. You never did any of these things before." When you need your own characters to point out the inconsistencies of your story, you've got a problem.
I'm very interested in what LH had to say about the way Gwen was written. Thanks for telling me. I'll look for comments on it!

Galen and Mac said they were hoping that they were putting Shuis back together, and that they get married and have a honeymoon. They BOTH said it was unbelievable that Sher wanted Antonio, and that he wanted Fancy. Also that Chad was gay, and that Fox was so crazy and pyscho. It seemed the MAIN cast didnt like Pssns besides the woman who played Fancy. Galen said he and Mckenzie had all the chemistry.

I always liked Gwen and Liza and was sad they destoryed her character, but I think people only hate Gwen because they love Ethan/Theresa. If you take that out of the picture, there's no reason to hate Gwen because many characters (Kay, Fox, and Sheridan) did many unforgivable things but the level of hatred is not the same for them. Whitney considered letting her baby die, but no one says she's a horrible mother like Gwen.

Galen pratically took out a poster saying that IT WAS INSANE FOR LUIS TO END UP WITH FANCY, as a ending for his character. That Shuis were made for each other only. LIZA SAID THAT GWEN DIDNT DESERVE TO BE LIED TOO all those years. That she wanted another man, besides Ethan. Which I agree with. I even get why the Theresa fans felt she DESERVED BETTER!

@neveah45 I wasnt yelling, I was making emphasis on what they said, because Galen didnt shut up about the disrespect of the writing. He didnt like it, and was grossed out by the Luis/Fishy story. He said the rape plots, the Luis loving her over Sheridan, the ending was disgusting. Why do you think he gained ALL that weight and didnt care the last WHOLE year of the show? While as soon as Days came up, he cut his hair, and LOST all that weight and looked like his old hotself. Its pretty evident.

In what world, would Shuis/Antonio/Fancy be able to keep peace? Shuis would've reunited.

Haha i always went for Theresa! By far this probably is the most cheesiest show -but we all loved it hahaha Classic!! I disagree that Gwen was always evil. I hated her at the end, but I felt like the show was making her more evil than she really was to make me sympathsize with Theresa. I never believed Gwen would risk the lives of innocent children. SHe saved LE's life when he was first born.
I felt most of Gwen's actions (the tabloid, blacklisting T's family) were just reasonable actions to things Theresa did. Theresa tried to steal a married man from his wife and deserved most of what she got.
I agree with you neveah45 the writters wanted to wrap up the show fast so they had to make someone the villain, and of course they chose Gwen. Gwen was always a loving, caring mother to children who weren't even her own like Lil Ethan and Jane. She would have NEVER done that. Even Liza Huber who played Gwen was somewhat shocked that they tarnished Gwen's character the way they did.
Yeah Gwen was definitely stronger than Theresa. She won most of the fights and won most of the 'battles' because she got to be with Ethan and marry him for longer periods of time...until the end!

I didn't like it when Jared left. I was expecting him to stay. I was expecting the loved he lost, Arabella would turn out to be a Crane sister under that name. I didn't like how the storyline of Pretty Crane turned out.

To be quite honest I never really liked the Theresa vs. Gwen catfights. They always made Theresa look like such a wimp whenever she fought Gwen, and I hated seeing my girl Theresa lose in the physical fights :(.

I agree! There were soooo many times throughout the show that I got so INCREDIBLY ANGRY & ENRAGED that Gwen was winning the fights that I literally wanted to go into the TV screen, and beat the hell out of Gwen just to defend Theresa!
