Topps has made "3D baseball cards" that allow you to view a 3D version of a the baseball player when held up to your webcam. I will try and link to it if possible.

bamzooki is different to this its not augmented reaility bamzookie is projected onto the zookie arena and you can download bamzookie from google

precisely. You can only manipulate the 'objects' as you view them through the PDA's camera.
btw, apparently technology similar to this is being planned for use with iphones.

In the description that should say "from 2005". If I recall, that's when I was shown this, and this was new stuff then.
I can only assume that the "flying pie chart" is a distant relative of this technology.
