You are right thormaniaz. I think the iphone is an overpriced piece of shit anyway. I had 2...both of which quit working. I now have an HTC PPC6800. Which is twice the piece of equipment the iphone is. Why does everyone compare every piece of electronics to Apple's overpriced crap anyway? Apple makes good computers....that's all in my opinion.

logem1234......MOTO Q is motorola's 1 attempt at a smart phone. Hardly a good comparison for the K550i from an established handset maker. Compare your K550i to my HTC MOGUL and last man standing wins. Full querty keyboard, EVDO Rev A internet speeds (broadband) touch screen, expandable memory, also with GPS. Seems you got the short end of the stick. Best products on the market. And I have never had the customer service issues you are belly aching about.

In all reality, c-sat scores from the past quarter at&t had the worst. EDGE technology is way slower than WIMAX or WIFI for that matter. Please do not keep posting your ignorance on a tech matter. BTW best phone of 2008 @ CTIA trade show...Samsung Instinct. Another phone that is all the i phone is NOT!

AT&T runs one of the slowest mobile networks in on market today.Basicly it is a 2G network where another carrier in the USA (Sprint) has the fastest 3g network and already has a 4-8 year jump on the 4G tech standard called WIMAX.Being that HTC already has the TOUCH with Sprint,you will be able to have a more customizable phone with faster internet(HSDPA is the foundation of WIMAX) better camera,expandable memory The battery will be interchangeable & the best of all,The phone will be insurable.

Sprint is the most garbage telecom company out there, they have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. I have the k550i from Sony and it uses EDGE and its downloads are almost as fast as the Moto Q I had from Sprint. I loved being able to use my GSM phone when I was in Europe...oh sprint runs on (w)CDMA/EV-DO a piece of shit network good only in North America. When you go back to work tell all the assholes at Sprint I said they suck.

I think most of you newjacks don't know what you are talking about for one. The IPHONE was labled the largest piece of techno crap that was launched in 2007 by almost all computer mags and by all the major cell and electronic trade organization. Best phone of 2007 was the Samsung Upstage that Sprint has.

Second HTC is basicly the world leader in smartphone technology bar none! Now they have come to swollow this part of the globe also. Third, 3.2 mega pixel compared to IPHONES no.0mega pixel.

It looks much better than the Iphone, which was overpriced! If I had the money I'd pick one up. I don't like Apple Ipod's or Iphones they are too expensive and have a small amount of memory.

No phone without a multi-touch interface is ever going to be an iPhone killer.  Even if it has 10 times better hardware - it's the user interface that really matters - to me anyway. Windows running on the Blue Gene/L supercomputer is still Windows.
