My friend has hunted every season since she was five years old. she is 16 now and her hunt (a large one) has only ever killed three foxes in that time. adding to that
.foxes spred mange and other skin infections to our pets, they kill rabits and other pets as well as make a mess through our rubbish.. that last point is minor. but it is anoying.
I hunt and raise money for WSPA (a animal rights charity). Hunting is the better option- the hounds survive, the fox is not poisoned, or shot and left maimed. The pest dies. OUTRIGHT, no pain, no suffering. If you have compasion for animals then you should support hunting, either way the fox will be killed, this is the best way to do it.

I feel we need to look at how fox numbers effect the enviroment and farmers etc and then review fox hunting based on that evidence. If the number of foxes are having a negitive impact on these things there may need to be a cull to help the enviroment and the foxes themself and if not there would be no need for fox hunting. I feel that it is wrong to view fox hunting as just a sport. I think it's more than that.

They kill lambs and they cause a lot of grief to farmers. One fox can do a lot of damage, emotional as well. They aren't bad people for upholding a tradition they've been brought up with.

I feel we need to look at how fox numbers effect the enviroment and farmers etc and then review fox hunting based on that evidence. If the number of foxes are having a negitive impact on these things there may need to be a cull to help the enviroment and the foxes themself and if not there would be no need for fox hunting. I feel that it is wrong to view fox hunting as just a sport. I think it's more than that.

If the fight dosent turn ino a physical riot then Im fine. I DO have problems wih people fighting with someone who dosent want to be in a fight. IE: The people who throw rocks at horses to try to spook them. Ive never had a problem with protesters (I dont count having differing opinions as having a problem) as long as they, and we, keep it a clean fight.
