I have lots of hope for Zimbabwean orphans and all orphans of Africa and things will get better I wish people would do more to help Africa's precious children I can't wait to adopt from africa.I'm african american and I will do as much as I can to help Africa's people please everyone pray for the children of Africa
There are targeted sanctions against about 200 corrupt ZANU and government officials and their businesses. And even these sanctions are not UN endorsed. They are only by US and EU countries. This is why ZANU thieves, line Grace Mugabe can still travel to China and other countries. The poverty in Zimbabwe is not because of 'sanctions' that do not affect absolute majority of the people, but because ZANU destroyed private businesses and forced most of educated, productive people out of the country.
Once again, specifically for those who still does not get it: there are no sanctions against ordinary Zimbabweans. They can freely travel where they want. Compare it with sanctions against Rhodesia: Rhodesian passport has not been recognised by any country except SA. There are no sanctions against fair Zimbabwean businesses; they can freely export or import products. Compare it with sanctions on Rhodesia: all exports to Rhodesia and almost all imports have been fully banned by UN resolution.
Dear Pres Obama Solution to Zimbabwe's problems is simple! Instead of DEMONIZING Mugabe who has become the SCAPEGOAT for FAILURES OF INTERNATIONAL FOREIGN POLICY, there should be NEW, FRESH ELECTIONS held in Zimbabwe following IMMEDIATE REMOVAL of SATANIC SANCTIONS that starve UNDERCLASS. ALL POLITICAL PARTIES in ZIMBABWE must be GET access to that US$10m & NOT a FEW! MONEY CORRUPTS, now that we know a FEW got US$10m, ZIMBAWE ELECTION process was VIOLATED. Thats not DEMOCRACY thats DIABOLIC
Zimbabwe's orphans are all Black, poor, and disenfranchised! When will the international community realize that the Satanic economic sanctions are hurting poor Black children, and if only one race ends up getting the raw deal from these economic sanctions, that is truly RACISM at its worst! We are sick and tired of getting sick of seeing pictures of Black poor children all over the place, while the international community even introduces more harsher economic sanctions! Children end up poor!
You are right! The international community have to stop those sanctions- they let the kids suffer much more- that is not a solution
WE HAVE to support esp. the "weakest of the weak"--> kids and women!!! The ppl need food, good sanitary and hygenic installations and (!) education for developing themselves and for their future!
But I am also so sick of those leaders like Mugabe!
nobody other than mugabe is hurting the people, look at the international AID organisations helping such as UNICEF, rhodesia south africa all survived sanctiond its failed leadership and corruption under mugabe the tyrant and dictator, mugabe is a killer look at how rich zanu pf are mugabes violent regime has caused these problems
