Nice video! But those old WBC seats are horrible! I flew from DTW-NRT a few months back and those seats are so firm, it gave me a backache when I arrived at NRT!
If you enjoy being miserable fly Delta.....Stewardess that are RUDE and older than dirt....and oh yeah, you get the added bounus of connecting through Atlanta...land of the blue gum
Flew NWA A330-300, LGW-MSP in Business Class. Great seats, very comfortable, great service in 2007. Loved the lumbar massage! The seats are great for business class. It is not first class and they dont claim it to be first class.
Yes, I have flown most airlines in international business class; unfortunately only United Airlines in first class interationally...both old and new first class seats...
So basically you're spoiled rotten when it comes to flying. I can't believe people like you would actually consider these horrible. I mean, there's like 4 or 5 feet between your head and the back of the other person's seat here. That's insane.
Well...I don't know you and I will refrain from passing judgment, but I fly for business and its important that I am able to either sleep on the plane and arrive fresh the next day to begin work immediately or I need to work on the plane and finish proposals ASAP. The current Business Elite seats are unacceptable for either and compared to other airlines that offer a better product for the same price, I will glady choose them.
I don't know about you, but I could sleep and work in one of those seats. Working would be a bit inconvenient, but I could most likely do it if I wanted to.
I lament...the days of Pan Am are over...as with it true Clipper Class and First Class service.
By the way, I ALWAYS do all of my prep and work BEFORE the flight if possible. Try it sometime and you will enjoy the trip much more and really arrive fresh. It is difficult to resist pulling out that laptop, but you can do it.
@onecunningfox OMG, what I wouldn't love to be able to do that....I don't know it just seems like we have more work and less resources; I am so tired of working 70 hours a week, I should start to play the lotto :)
Tell your boss to shove it, demand a raise or find a new job. Unless you are an attorney charging 450-900 an hour, you may want to reconsider your employ. Alternatively, at 70 hours a week - you should look into owning your own company. This way the 30 extar hours goes directly in your pocket - and not that of some corporation that thinks you are glad just to have a job.
Nice video, thanks for posting!

What did they do? Put cushions on the back of the chair to make it look bigger then call it business class elite?

Those seats look like big hairsdryers in salons for a perm and set.

The Board of Directors of Delta just voted to upgrade the 747s to normal Delta service levels, including new B/E seats.

@sp8211a i rode in one of them (seat 4E) and the seat was terrible, the 77L is so much better

That's good because I don't think that the 747 will be in Delta's fleet too much longer.
tbird209 2 years ago
really, what makes you say so? Will they fly 777-300ER instead of 747-400s?
sp8211a 2 years ago
@tbird209 No! It will! For about 10 more years or so! Their adding PTV's!!! YAY
