@SkylarGann Hey man, I saw your post on Ewan Dobson's fanpage, really inspirational! I can't remember the setting I used, but I used some software delay with custom settings. Ewan uses a Boss delay pedal set on 800ms.

@s3bbe1337 I did not use any camera microphone nor did I plug in the guitar, plus the guitar I'm using is not a good one. The action was not suited for the open C tuning, as well as the built in pickup is broken. I could reupload the video with my new guitar, with better sound, and my skill level is today a lot higher and I have also today practiced this piece more than 45 minutes, but I doubt it will get as much views.

@cwinget2580 Ewan's music are not any ripoff of any kind and it would be sad if people though so since it takes lots and lots of practice to be able to play the way he does. But this tune is, in my opinion, hugely overrated for some reason (I like his other stuff more) and you are clearly able to hear that he's using a delay pedal. And that is the way this song gets it's sound. If you think that is a con, you're either extremely stupid and brain-dead or you're trolling.

at the end of the day, this is all a big cheat. Absolutely anyone can play this. If you dream of playing it, dream no longer. The delay effect makes it sound like you're playing twice as fast as you actually are. In this original video he only uses downstrokes. When combined with the delay effect, this creates the illusion of fast alternate picking. This song is a complete con and if you really want to be able to play this song, you could probably learn it perfectly in half an hour.

@kipupking I learnt the intro from a decent tab, but I figured out the read by ear and eye from the original Candyrat video. I'm sure that it these days (since the video went "viral") are lots of tabs aviable if you just try to search for it! But the best thing to do would be to buy the official tab from the Candyrat site since the money will go to Ewan. And if Ewan gets money, he'll be able to make more music and work less on his part-time job!

@TheRAZOR19111 Have you heard the original tune? It's to get the sort of "trancy" sound, else it would just sound like lots of eigth notes played after eachother but it's the delay that makes it sound the way it sounds (did I overuse the word sound?) :)
