  • what song is this!? <3

  • soy

  • ay amigo como se llama la cancion?

  • I am planning on moving there to live, I live in Australia and it is a horrible life living in povery in Australia, all pollititians here weather it be labour or liberal are like tyrants and dictators, I want to live in a communist country where everyone is equal, I know someone whi lives there and they have a higher standard of living than the US and Australia.

  • @REPOMAN24722 It's not entirely about the system. There are many factors that affect the condition of a country. If you are an Australian you love your country, you should stay and try to make it a better place instead of moving into where you think is a better place. Otherwise, move on.

  • @aclock2 One person cant do anything to change a political system, one man cant start a revolution.

  • @REPOMAN24722 Gather people who have the same thought as you. Encourage them, provoke them. Or just simply participate in an anti-Government group that already exist. If your society is really fucked up, there should be many people like that around the country.

  • How were you even allowed to video record? My cousin had to have someone from the gov't follow her every step.

  • I gotta get down there to Havana sometime. Beautiful place! Thanks for posting this.

  • What is the song please?

  • People see a worn out city with old buildings and I see the beauty and dignity of the people and the country.

It's a shame that we the major superpower in the world for 50 years have had a grudge against this beautiful country and these beautiful people. I suppose since we lost our corrupt, criminal Batista we have been scorned.

It's about time we let people be and let them rule over their own destiny, it's the only moral thing to do.

  • rqshquesada...

    You're the Maaaan!

    Thanks for posting this!!

  • So this is what a country looks like after 50 years of repression of the USA. It looks better than compton, where the assholes in charge store the human trash they don't need.

In the 70's cuba looked way better, cause the had a trading partner.

But fortunatly soon the USA will colapse from the inside.

  • @AlandBeachboys "GOT THAT RIGHT" I left Cal, but other parts of the US are just the same. I was in South America for about 5 yrs, and thinking of returning to live..The US will join the rest of the world, pretty soon, in a real "True Reality Program" called "Real Living" after this economic collapse..Yeah! you are right, Compton, and for that matter the rest of LA is a "trip"..and I left it!!

  • im off to cuba in march2010 cant wait i've got 3 weeks there traveling all over and im an Afro cuban percussionist!!!!!!! bring it on!

  • The buildings are like frames around these beautiful people ango.

  • I wouldn't mind going there. Yeah, some buildings are shit, but America has places like that, too. Plus, the decay doesn't look as horrible as vdev305 makes it sound.

  • That's the Capital AH.

  • Incredible the ammount of decay and desctruction that 50 years of miserable castroism has brought to that once beautiful place.

  • At 5:04 there is an old man that takes photographs with this ancient camera. I still have my picture!

  • I've been to Cuba twice, in 2007 and in 2008. I regret not taking some video with me but I had a great time.

  • I thought that americans were not allowed to go to Cuba

  • Yeah, that's why they all make a quick shortcut through my country, The Bahamas.

  • i would love to go there.... it looks like something out of a movie... crazy video man

Cuantos recuerdos!.

    Gracias por el video.

  • Very inforamative video. Interesting to see a city that is essentially forgotten by many Americans.

  • 5:37 ¡¡¡EL CENTRO GALLEGO!!!

  • whats the song?

  • Chan Chan by Buena Vista Social Club

  • And "El Carretero" by Themselves (Eliades Ochoa)

  • I viewed Havana through my eyes and experience, not through a camera and I saw people who know how to live once their basic necessities were met. Poverty is a state of mind.

The rest of the world knows why Cuba's economy is in the state that it is.

  • by the way... there is no more sadness there than any other part of the world... let's look at the smiles, not the tears!

  • No....that is not true. There is plenty of sadness there. You can make that argument about ANY place. There are smiles in jail, but those who don't escape long for the day they can leave. Dont'let's not minimize the inherent and existing problems of that country.

  • NICELY DONE... ¡BIEN HECHO! I felt like i was standing in the middle of la habana vieja..

  • almost al of my family esta en habana

  • nice,i hope to go some day

Felicidades!!

  • q bella musica de fondo.. quienes son?

    beautyfull song... how is it?

  • im cuban american, i whent to cuba 2 times once in 2000 when i was 5 and last year

  • nice im also cuban american altough i wish i could go ta cuba

  • hello , im com from belgium , and i hope to practice a conga drums in cuba !! this is beautiffull contry and spirit !! good bless you !! peace

  • What a beautiful place

  • you must live in a hut.

  • huts rule

  • I won't deny there is a sense of beauty when you look at an old architectural building, but what I see are old decomposing buildings, streets in need of repair and people driving very old cars....very sad..

  • i know what you mean catocs, but see, to is, Cubans that is our country, our land, our Island, It's beatiful and the ones that are not there anymore dream of one day being there again, we long to be in our country again, To us it's beauty, it's happiness and fredom insinde. Thanks for watching a video of my country and taking intrest in it, with peolpe like you, one day Cuba will be FREE again.

  • @catocs indeed....Detroit is pretty awful and no excuse. There is no embargo against Detroit
