However, it's not to say that slavery ended on a Monday and by the following Friday everyone had equal rights. That's just not true. The journey towards equality between races continued LONG after slavery ended. That was just the beginning. Haven't you ever heard of the civil rights movement? Black American's weren't even allowed to vote until the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

If black ppl, or North American Indians had been technologically further advanced than white people in the past, then there would have been white slaves instead.

Quick question? Why is it okay for Black people to call us "white" people a "cracker", but if we use the "N" word for referring to a "black person" we are "racist"? Isn't "Cracker" a racist statement as well???? Last time I checked it was. Anyway I am not racist by any means, I have just always wondered why that is. Thumbs up if you agree!

I know this will probably offend some of you, but lets say that the blacks had invented boats, and guns and were the only the people in the world who had them. What are the odds that the blacks wouldn't have done the same thing to the whites if history was reversed? My point is that all humans are selfish (or have selfish qualities), and if the blacks had the chance to use whites as slaves they would have. If christopher columbus was black, whites or some other race would be used in slavery.
