Iran might test an SAM Missile with a Max range of 100km within 2 years but the Radars & Electronics will not b as good as the S-300 & many of the part will actually be foreign. The system could have minor upgrades in its electronics but overall the S-300 will b far superior

Fajr-3 is a type of warhead that is equipped with 3 Independent reentry vehicles (MIRV) the Fajr-3 can be placed on all of Iran's MRBM, IRBM & Future ICBM's (2 b testes under Iran's space program)
The Qiam-1 uses the newest version of Iranian liquid fuel engines, it's about the same size as the Ghadr-1 but its much faster & it's Max Range is classified
Due 2 agreements with Russia, Iran is not 2 acknowledge that it has 2000km plus BM but that could change in the next few years...

@VEVAK007 Yeah, I guess you're right abt this. But if they want 2 threaten the US economy by hitting Saudi oil fields & tankers, they need 2 build some very precise weapon systems. The most efficient would be the ballistic missiles, of course. But long range cruise missiles also offer some very good tactical options. Cruise missiles r much harder 2 detect than ballistic missiles.

Ballistic Missiles are much harder to shot down (MUCH HARDER) & they can carry a much larger payload than Cruise Missiles
Cruise Missiles are much Cheaper than MRBM for targets over 1000km mainly due to the cost of Rocket Fuel but they are far more accurate than Ballistic Missiles but they are MUCH easier to bring down specially in well protected areas

Cruise missile can be made very fast, plus, their way of flying gives them the capability 2 perform evasive maneuvers that a MRBM's warhead can't. Plus, their launch is MUCH harder to detect. If u launch a ballistic missile (which travels 2 the very high layers of the atmosphere) every1 will know in 2 min max. That's not the case with cruise missiles. A combined ballistic missiles & cruise missiles attack would be totally devastating against any enemy, much more devastating than just a ballistic missiles attack.

All the other subs Iran has are midget subs which are built locally. Where do you get your information from? Story books?
