Mine use to love the snow. One day in Tennessee we had a big snow storm and she just jumped out the door and right into a pile of snow.

torino perhaps it is your own distaste for snow that makes the dog hesitate. they are not naturally incarnate with phobias, they become conditioned that way and it gets worse the more it's reinforced. try going outside and then inviting the dog out after you. u might have to wait a minute for him to show his true colors but i've heard most eskies are fond of snow.

He is a male American Eskimo. He is now 13th years old and sick. We love him so much. He is very smart and a loving dog.
