I'm not really much of a replay editing expert, but still. You should NEVER use the Battle Cams in cinematic replays. They provide no excitement whatsoever, since everybody who plays Dissidia would already know what it looks like from that point of view. Even with all those pillars getting in the way you could still do something without resorting to the Battle Cams. But for 1st replay edit, it's pretty good. A lot better than mine, since I didn't know about green markers the first time I tried.
How do you edit the replay videos? I've saved replays and when i watch them i press Select and a small menu comes up but i'm not entirely sure what some of the commands are.
You do two things on the PSP. You edit the replay in-game, then convert the file into .avi (using 3 different compressions). This is all done in-game. Afterward, connect your PSP to your computer and click and drag the avi file onto your computer.
You have to save your replay first by hitting Square at the end of the match. Afterward, you can view and edit your replay by going to the main menu > Museum > Battle Replay (I think it's the last option).
If you guys are looking for a person who edits killer replays (a lot better than this) You should check out @Kayarine and @Randomdissidiavids

can yu add other music besides the battle music in the editting
XxkloudxX354 3 years ago
Using the in-game editor, no. You'd have to externally edit the video on your PC/Mac/whatever if you want to edit your video around a custom song.
This video was edited using the in-game editor without any BGM. I then transferred it to my Mac, then added a custom BGM to it using Quicktime Pro.

You'll get the hang of it. BTW what music did you use?

It's called Tenchi Hou Take, an OST from an anime called Fate/Stay Night.

One of the few very well done replay edits. Almost everyone else just does the replay mode without editing of any kind.

Also, that angle and move at 1:33 was PERFECT.

Thanks, glad you liked it. :)
