@kreeperrock doesn't require much relative to most modern games (though, the engine is requiring more resources than necessary) but it's not "one of the most resource demanding games" just poorly optimized. though running this with fraps (or whatever recorder was used) can put a strain on the CPU/GPU. My main issue isn't the graphics, its the fact that he reformatted the video to a widescreen setting that made every character look like gimli the dwarf (youtube may have done that)

@ROJPOST no, you get thrown into a wasteland, you interact with npc's for jobs, encounter factions and get bounty or sell found items for upgrades.... You can use any weapon you like as long as you can find it (and find ammo for it) Shadow of Chernobyl is a better game than Call of Pripyat. if you're going to start, start there. you'll go back to it many times.

@iGsushii Press the appropriate number for the type of weapon you are holding. It should be 1 for knife, 2 for the first weapon slot, 3 for the second and so on. If that doesn't work, check your control settings and see what key is for hiding/removing a weapon and use that key. If that doesn't work, then just open your inventory and drag and drop your weapon into your backpack and put it back after you finish talking with the Stalker. And if that doesn't work then you may have encountered a bug.

erm a little heads up, good walkthrough, but instead of buying the Bear detector, at teh start look for the anomaly that has lots of steam coming off it. a guy gets injured in it, if u give him a medpack he runs out of it, and gives you a Bear detector

@n1b3luNg During the game you have to talk to Flint from time to time. For example in part 12 at 4:40 (but you will have to talk to him 3 or 4 times during the game). Then in part 17 at 2:47 I get the mission to revenge Splinter and at 6:57 (same part) I do so. Then in part 23 at 9:10 I complete the mission by revealing that Magpie is actually Flint. Questions? :)

@Junk045 I'm not sure that you can mount a silencer on the AKM but there is an upgrade that allows the AKM to fire that other type of ammo (Nato ammo or I don't know for sure). You could try doing that upgrade and see if you can mount a regular silencer. But don't forget to save before you do it, so that you can load back if you don't want that upgrade anymore. Oh and you will need the last set of tools for that upgrade. They are located in Pripyat.

@Junk045 No... at 8:15, the "Attack the Stalkers" quest canceled leaving the "Attack the robbers" quest active. So I've chosen to do what Beard told me (kill the robbers - the ones who I turned against at 8:15). If I'd listened to Sultan (kill the Stalkers) I wouldn't have gotten Beard's good ending when I finished the game. So during the game, try to ignore Sultan and work for Beard.
