Can you tell us what adoption agency you used? Our old agency is no longer accredited in Tomsk and we would like to go back there for number 4. Thanks so much! Liz
Hope is fabulous -what a joy your girl is! We have been home with our daughter close to 13 years and she was 5 1/2 years old when she came home. Like, Hope, she is also a wonderful girl and ours has done just great.

@vkwalden He has been home since April of 2009. We left the baby home with him on March 31 so it looks like we just missed you. Our court date was on Christmas Day in 2008 but there was an appeal so we had to wait until the appeal was overturned by the Russian Supreme Court. It was a Christmas present worth waiting for though. We plan on going back to Tomsk in a few years when he gets older.
Great video, we are next to adopt 2 kids from russia at the end of january 2010. The little girl is very lucky to have you. You seems a lovely couple with smiles and it is contagious for your 3 kids. ;)
Russia requires 2-3 trips to finalize your adoption. You can do it in 2 if you choose to stay in country for the 10 day wait after the court hearing. A lot of families stay for the 10 days, but it makes the second trip close to 3 weeks long. Logistically, we just couldn't be away from our boys that long.

@trepika She started speaking within a week or two but was understanding almost right away, within a few days.
