what was wrong with cedeno hes young he could easily be a top shortstop a few years down the road and we lost a former #1 draft pick in jeff clement wilson is good but i dont think he and snell can make up for what we lost in cedeno and the 4 other prospects

Gotta agree with you, the Pirates really did get the better end of this deal. Wilson was simply not happy in Pittsburgh, GREAT player, but not happy. Ian Snell has quite a few issues, on and off the field, I wouldn't say he has as much potential as all of these coaches are saying he does. On the other side, Jeff Clement could be just what the doctor ordered at 1st base for the Pirates. Cedeno doesn't need to do much to match Wilson's output at the plate, and the other 3 prospects are a bonus.

We gave Cedeno a chance, he didnt do good in big situations. Jeff clement hasnt been good at all for us. We bring him up and we put him back down all the time. Wilson has a bat and can defend amazing. Snell will do good also

Ha Wilson does not have much of a bat. Snell is trouble on and off the field. 2-8 this year? Not a solid record I don't care what team you are playing for. Cedeno is also a brilliant defender, he has been on the highlight reel a couple of times already since coming to Pittsburgh.

As a Mariner fan, I am excited to see Jack with us...As a baseball fan, i'm sad to see the Pirates fans lose a favorite.....Clement is a top notch guy, and fans should really like him...Good luck Pirates!!!

as a pirates fan i thank u for being gracious and not a biased asshole. im gonna miss jack and i only wish the best for him in seattle. i hope u guys can work out whats wrong with snell cuz if u fix his head, then he could be a really nice middle of the rotation arm for years to come. thank u for cedeno. im loving his bat and glove right now and i really hope clement turns out to be a stud. ha i mean he was drafted before mccutchen in the 05 draft so he cant be too bad
