@wispyok06 hmmm. i have a 6.5 on my CPU with windows 7 now and a 7.0 gaming graphics with a xfx 5670 1gb gddr5 now. i have to make a new video. ummm lemme check the specs on that CPU. i'll see what i can do. but what number are you looking to achieve? i have a dual core at 3.0ghz and i got a 6.5. what OS do you have?

@wispyok06 oh that's odd, i have 7. ummm what GPU do you have and what's your lowest rating on windows experience index? and the rating you get is based on the component with the lowest experience index rating. aka if all other components are 7.0, and one is 6.2, your index rating will be 6.2 regardless. it won't average out. and same here, with occasional hardcore gaming.

@Iwillgiveyouctime we almost have the same specs but my windows index score is a little bit higher than yours my lowest index score is 4.7 which is the aero thing in windows.. processor 6.7 ram 5.9 (4gb @ 3.5gb because of my IGPU shared memory ati 4250) graphics 4.7 gaming graphics 5.6 storage 5.9 athlon ii x2 250 3.0ghz @ 3.6ghz kingston ddr3 1333 4gb mobo msi 880gm-E43 seagate barracuda 500gb 7200rpm cooler... deepcool beta 200st....... this is a HTPC budget build

@taha1112 damn, where did you get the parts? i'm upgrading to either a 4870, a 5450, a 5670, or a 5830. Not really sure, it's a tough tie between the first and the second. I'm upgrading my CPU to a Phenom II X4 945 3.0ghz processor as it's the highest phenom that mine can support (95w limit on my board being a year old now).

@Iwillgiveyouctime there was a oem version of the amd x4 620 which was going for $70!!, and a hyper 101 amd version for $15 (cools good), I them off of newegg, not to forget a cheap asus board for $50 with all overclocking features.

And stay away from the 5450!, thats not going to be an upgrade, its going to give you the same performance, 4870 or 5830 is the way to go, you can go with a 4850 too, and that CPU is great, I actually got to unlock my L3 cache and the performance was awesome.

Ummm well I'm gonna try, I was thinkin about either a 4650-5670 if i could for a cheap price range cause I don't have a lot of money till I get a job soon. I heard bad things about the 5450 too. I'm gonna have to figure out what I'm gonna do. Meh that's what youtube gameplay videos are for with video cards and shopping for one. Just some don't know how to put the FPS in their videos, they just like you to play the guessing game XD. And thanks with the CPU.Propswithyours
