  • are these tropical or cold water gold fish?

  • GOLD FISH ARE GAY I FEED THEM EVERYDAY TO MY FISH!!LMAO

  • @dozzzer11 You have a salt water tank if your channel is anything to go by. Are you retarded? You shouldn't feed freshwater fish to saltwater fish.

  • @SmileChicky yes my oscar are retarded for gold fish they love it!!lol i dont feed gold fish 2 my tangs and puffer are you stupid...lol its for my snow flake hee!!!!l are you hot?!?!

  • @dozzzer11 Why yes I'm hot, I'm 53 years young, and I'm currently wearing only my underwear. Wanna web cam before my wife gets home?

  • @SmileChicky your fuckin stupid.. you should get a better name for your age like !!like ugly or stupid or even go fuck your self with your gold fish bitch

  • @dozzzer11 I hate when people judge me because of my age! THATS why I got this user name :( to see who would accept me for me and not my age. Im a good person! I have ALL my original teeth and although my hair is thinning im not bald. Im a good person.

  • Wow that is one nice tank! Very nice fish you got there.

  • omgshhhhhhhhhhh i love ur fishes so much! they're so cuteeee :DD i love them! i love them! <33

  • THATS NOT 150 FISHES :/

  • @thesuperpatbar It's 150 gals, you dumb dumb.

  • nice tank and fishes ! what kind of filtration you have ? water looks very clear

  • you guys dont know anything you are only believing in the book i have a 60 gallon fish tank and i have 10 fishes in their 5 red cap 3 Fancy goldfish and 2 fancy ryu

  • everytime i see a goldfish like that it reminds me of a really fat baby =p lol

  • Yeah, goldfish are dirty little buggers, but great tank for them, lots of space and opportunities to break down waste.

  • Nice tank, are those real plants?

  • @Huglezz

    look again goggle aquapuppies

  • @Huglezz

4 months is a very short time though. i have kept my fish for 3 yrs in a very large aquarium they have grown at a very healthy rate. so may i ask where did you find your information?

  • @Huglezz

by keeping them in such a small tank your only harming them, there bones will stop growing while the organs continue to grow causing them to become stunted and they will die. not so happy is it

  • these fish are REALLY ugly normal goldfish look better

  • fishcrazy........150 gallons / 12 goldish (i think) = 12.5 gallons each

OH NO THATS TO MANY GALLONS PER FISH!

  • I think the nitrogen cycle is well understood now. Any decent LFS can explain it to you. When I started in this hobby in 1993 I like many people bought a 55 gallon starter kit. It served me well for many years and the LFS even gave me a little 7 page booklet on the nitrogen cycle, something at the time I had never heard of. The owner also gave everyone who bought one of those starter tanks a free subscription to one of the magazines but I don't remember which. That was a real LFS........

  • @trhisdone lfs?

  • @brianvelasquez Local Fish Store = LFS

  • i once had two goldfish, one was called bit,one was called bot, one day,bit bit bot but bot bit bit back. so it all ended fairly really.........

  • On my birthday im getting money and im gunna get my fish a new tank hopefully thinking of a 100L But idk how long would a 150L Tank be?

  • This is great! I'm aspiring to this - Have a small tank with 2 small fancies and a couple of danios at the moment.... when the goldfish grow a little bigger i'm going big though!!

  • That tank is a masterpiece. Do you still have it running?

  • one of the lionheads have swim bladder i think

  • get a 20 gallon u dont really need 40 gallons like everyone else says

  • nice tank! love it!

  • orange 1 obese lol

  • not being rude, but i would assume that when someone owns a 150 gallon, they mean business, not overstocking in goldfish which equals mad shit and lots of stunning. sooo i dunno :S

  • wat a waste of tank

  • Lovely fish, lovely tank jealous!!!

  • My cat enjoyed this video

  • i saw one of your ranchu has swimm bladder issues..how is she now?

  • Nice tank, I take it that those are real and not plastic plants?

  • @19allden19

goldfish need 10 gallons each dude

  • @fishcrazy104 10 gallons EACH!!! that would have to be a monsterous tank

  • @mintlou

    just check out my tank

  • @fishcrazy104

You can get around this though if you have another water filter rated at the same if not more gallons than your tank is. Grant it you have to replace twice as many filters, but it is a way to get around it.

  • @Penfold8

no they need space to grow. the fancy gf can reach ten inches. or do u want to have a stunted 3 inch gf....idk about you but i want to have them to be happy as can be :D

  • @fishcrazy104. Yeah I am aware of the stunted growth. That's why I only have two fish right now in a 20 gallon aquarium. I have two Orandas, which I hope will grow to be there full 6" length.

  • @fishcrazy104 So true, he is gonna have a serious space issue when those little ones grow up, other than that is a beautiful tank.

  • @andresisthename

i agree it looks awesome. but he needs to have more space

  • @fishcrazy104 I counted 12 or 13 fish ...in a 150 gallon tank. He more than meets the requirements...they look well cared for

  • @fishcrazy104 not unless you have the proper filtration and i don't see his fish gasping at the surface so I am pretty sure he is ok

  • @calvy06

umm the vid is only 57 seconds long......

  • @fishcrazy104

BEEN RAISING GOLDFISH LONGER THAN YOU HAVE PROLLY BEEN ALIVE...IF YOU HAVE THE FILTRATION YOU DON'T NEED TO FOLLOW THAT OLD WIVES TALE........

  • @calvy06

ummmm ok why are u yelling at me. If you do research on goldfish care you will find this. i don't care about how long you raised them its about providing them with the best environment possible. :)

  • @fishcrazy104 trust me.. they dont. i have 6 goldfish in a ten gallon tank, thats over a gallon each.

  • @Xbox360owner68

trust me they do,its like saying i can fit 10 oscars in a ten gallon. still doesn't make it right

  • @fishcrazy104 thats true. but at oscars continue growing unlike goldfish, which will stay at a steady size depending on the tank size.

  • @Xbox360owner68

no true thats just a old wife tale. they continue to grow. when stuffed into a bowl they become stunted which makes there bones stop growing but the organs continue to grow causing the fish to die from the inside

  • @Xbox360owner68

goldfish also continue to grow also they become stunted and there organs bust through there stunted bones

  • @fishcrazy104 No they dont! stop sugesting to this guy with what he needs to do or not do atleast hes got an aquarium nearly as wide and tall as you! so the goldifsh has many space to swim in!

  • @joemariesaraza12345

do u even know how big mine is.....

  • @fishcrazy104 hi... i want to ask 20 lt how mch gallons r they?

  • @paulaxa1

can u ask the question again? i dont understand

  • @fishcrazy104 20 lt?? how much gal r they?

  • Dude..its fine its better than a crappy pet shop. and if he takes good care of the water and his fish there will be no problem! and also he has 150 gallons like 12 fish and if u times that by 10 (the gallons) its only 120 so hes fine!

  • @fishcrazy104 they need a a 20 gallon tank! then 10 gallons each.

  • @RaffleReefer10

    that doesnt make sense

  • @fishcrazy104 the first fish needs 20 gallons then after that you add 10 gallons per goldfish!

  • @fishcrazy104 Let him do his thing.... It looks like he knows what hes doing.

  • SO CUTE :3

  • heyyy i think that your tank is kinda overcrowded..

  • Tank is okay but you need more greenery, + coral. I have two goldfish, Fred and Ethel. I say if your going to have pets give them A+ living conditions.

  • Dude, you big pimpin'! You be gettin' mad hunnies up in yo crib. Brothas got some dope goldfish chillin inna tank. Put some ice in da cups and put ya swerve on, big pimpin! Dem lionheads, ryu's or whateva, they da bomb nigga

  • says the loser who spends time finding and posting negative comments on other people's tanks...

  • @Fishguy2727 well its only true.. waste so much cash on fish solld 4 food

  • @jawsflouderASS--Get the fuck out of here you cretin pin-dick.

  • @bluemeany only you would know that. :P

  • @ jaws, touche. lol

  • wat tempature do u keep goldfish in??

  • Room temp.

  • Whoa! That's a giant tank! Your Goldfish seem happy!

  • nice tank! check out my new tank and give me suggestions :)

    /watch?v=j23JE_IbbMg

  • Very nice tank! I have a Goldfish tank too, but your tank is awesome!

  • wow that is a big tank

  • 29 long

  • That looks like a 55 gallon tank.

  • Exceot that it is six feet long, 18" wide, and 28" tall...

  • fancy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we have a fifty gallon

  • Nice you are the first one i've seen that keeps goldfish in the proper size thank for them

  • nice tank man

  • Thanks

  • very nice

  • I love you man! some one who finally keeps goldfish in a suitable environment!

  • 150 litres, how could that possibly be 150 gallons?

  • cool tank. gotta luv the fish! =)

  • Drain it (take out 80%), hook the python up to the sink, refill it, done.

  • my red devil just devoured my other red devil i got mad....

  • rukin goldfish alright

  • It' more about water quality rather than turning room.

If you dont give them enough water then things such as ammonia nitrite and nitrates go up which can cause fish to die, be injured or become vulnerable to disease :)

  • Fancy goldfish do not need that kind fo turn around room. And the larger you go the wider the tank gets. 180s are 24" wide, along with 220s and 265s. Marineland just came out with their 'Deep' tanks, all of which are 36" wide, 27" tall, and come in 3', 4', 5', and 6' lengths (150, 200, 250, and 300 gallons respectively).

  • I just switched from tropical back to goldfish. Gotta love em! :D

  • That is a bit much for that tank. When they are fill grown they will be pretty crowded and maintaining high water quality will be pretty difficult.

  • Hey, will 3 orandas, 1 ryukin, 1 fantail, 1 black moor and 2 panda moors be alright in a 80 gal?

  • The rule for goldfish is 20 US gallons for the first godfish, and after that its 10 gallons per goldfish. With the stock you want you would need a 90 gallon tank. However you could keep them if you have strong filtration and keeping up with weekly water changes.

  • I have a 600 gph filter so that means the water is turned over 7.5 times in an hour, so should that be alright?

  • general rule for keeping goldfish is 10-15 gallons per fish/ So you should be ok

  • that rule is for normal goldies fancies need less water but need better filtration.

  • Goldfish require a higher taste that many cannot appreciate.

  • im not a kid or a homosexual so that must mean that you are a jerkhead

  • @Fishguy2727 In fact at one time only the Royal family in China was allowed to keep goldfish. Goldfish have a beauty all their own. Some people just don't like them and that's ok. I have both a goldfish tank and a mbuna tank. I like both.

  • wtf is wrong with goldies? they're goreous.

  • Wow! I'd love to have 150 gallon with 14 baby goldies, and then raising them to be 15 yo. Imagining them from the cherry size into the mango size. That'd be an achievement!

  • Thank you. I have had tropical in there before. Peacock cichlids, bichirs, 20" tiretrack eel, oscars, etc. I got bored with those and have always loved goldfish. The goldfish went from a 40breeder, to a 75, to the 150. I wanted to show that a proper fancy goldfish tank doesn't have to be bare bottom, no plants, no tankmates, etc. It can still be beautiful, mentally stimulating, balanced, etc.

  • Stunning tank, im curious why you have chosen goldfish and not tropical for such a lovely tank?

  • Because they like goldfish.

I'm switching from tropicals to goldies, as well. :P

  • wauw!!! What a large and beautiful tank!

    I want one too!

  • I have before. I got bored with it. Goldfish need a lot of space.

  • 100% Natural Live plants. No fertilizers, CO2, etc. Just light and fish waste.

  • the plants are natural or artifcial?

  • Call me jealous!!! They are beautiful.

  • Nice Fish Man Subscrbin to u

  • nice ranchus

  • very very very nice,,,

  • I have raised them all from small to mediaum juveniles, never bought a large or adult.

  • Wow! Nice fish! I saw those kind of fancy goldfish at a fish store, and they were really expensive! I myself didnt buy the medium-big size goldfish, because they were really expensive. I bought the small kind lol.. I got 2 lionheads, 1 oranda, some calicos and fantails. Did u buy them big or did u raise them up?

  • I consider that one a ranchu, some would call it a lionchu. Ranchus are supposed to have a 45-90 degree engle between the downward sloping back and the tail. So that one was at or slightly wider than that, but it isn't even close to having the straighter back to tail transition as a lionhead. Both of the ranchu and lionhead are harder to find, at least ones that aren't messed up really badly.

  • Comment removed

  • i luv fancy goldfish:) when i move im deffo getting a goldfish setup as well as my tropical

  • Thank you.

  • waste of money on just gold fish

  • Then I won't sell them to you. Everything is a waste of money to anyone not interested in it.

  • And you sir are a waste of human sperm!

  • apperently someone enjoys fish too much

  • Do you have any hobbies? If you do, I bet they're a waste of money too. Why are you looking at this video if you have no interest in fish anyway? Too much free time?

  • Ok, answer this, is football and baseball a waste of time, no its not

  • HAHA! In my opinion? Yes, they are. I get as much enjoyment out of football or baseball as I get out of going to the dentist. And just because it's exercise means it's more fulfilling than other hobbies? Listen, I'm glad you have your own interests, but you have no right to judge anyone else for being different from you. AND I happen to be pretty glad I can afford to "waste" my money on something like a fish tank.. :P

  • Thank you. They do so much better with high water quality, high quality food, and space.

  • oh...i wasnt talking to you.....i luv the fishes tht is...:P

  • LUV UUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!! awesome tank :P

  • Fantastic aquarium!! Goldfishes 4 ever :-)

  • Beautiful fish and set up. So nice to see some one doing it right for a change. ^_^

  • Not exactly. Most guides suggest 20 gallons for one and an additional ten gallons for every additional goldfish. In addition, it is not just about volume, the most important factor is water quality. This is generally measured with nitrate concentration, which should remain under 20ppm. Stocking is dictated, to a point, more by water change schedule than volume.

  • How did you keep such clarity in your videos?

I have some goldfish videos too( under username "fischersrt") and they were perfectly clear too until I uploaded them to youtube and then they became all pixelated.

  • I am not sure what your problem is. It may be something with your computer, server, or something else. I am not advanced enough with computers to know what it may be.

  • Two more questions....Did you use a digital video camera? What file type did you record with?

    Thanks

I used a canon digital camera (640x480) to AVI file system.

  • I used a Canon Elph SD950 IS. I used whatever the default video file is on that camera.

  • Basically I have the same camera. I'm not sure what happened.

  • how much did that tank cost?

  • It was used and I cannot remember, they are expensive new.

  • What size is your tank? It's nice!!

  • 150 gallons

  • It was used and I can't remember how much it cost. They are pretty expensive new.

  • would a 3 inch long goldfish kill 3 1.5 inch long goldfish

  • No, they are not aggressive. The only issues are when you combine long-bodied and round-bodied varieties, especially when the round-bodieds have a wen (the fleshy cap).

  • o alright thanks. i used to have a goldfish with the wen. but i have alot of big tanks that arent used and want to combine the lonely big fish with my goldfishes.

  • whoa there I dont think the Its best for 150 goldfish in a tank of that size... If you want whats best for you tank remember this rule..

1 inch for a goldfish would be 2.5 gallons... so 4 inches in total of fish would be about 10 gallon tank

  • What is not best?

Actually those gallons per inch 'rules' are all at best VERY loose guides. The best guide for goldfish is 20 gallons for one and an additional 10 gallons for each additional goldfish. This assumes a lot of filtration and adequate water changes (keep nitrate concentration under 20ppm). This is the actual goal of any stocking guide, keeping water quality up.

  • The depth of sand is a limiting factor for now. I also like to give them room to move so the plants get a chance to root without being uprooted.
