theres something odd about watching a monte cruise down the road with a blower sticking out of the hood. its not something ive seen before. i hav an 87 LS with a stock 305 in it. im planning on adding to the motor but i dont think id actually put a blower tht big on it. Nice job though. sounds great

@Manning713 Well to answer that question , the sound of the motors equate to the size and shape of the heads and ports, compression , cam specs, exhaust....all these and more play a role in an engines sound , not only that but the shapes and mass of the crank its stroke and the bore size and mass and structure of the engine block as well. All this = equals a motor's sound. listen to a big block chevy race motor verses a chevy mouse motor...you can get close but never exactly the same!

The thing on his blower is a Don Garlits streetcatcher mounted on dual carbs, you can search it up yourself if you dont believe me. According to its product description it is " a Blower Scoop that truly represents the real 'Blown and Injected look'". It is only made to "LOOK" like the real thing.

The "real" thing that it is ment to look like is a Enderle type fuel injected, Bug Catcher Injector Hat

I think the dude who posted this thinks I was bashing his whole car with my other comment, I just think that would look good in an old muscle car or street rod, with the technology available today, there's no need to cut the hood, block your vision, and stop at every gas station. I have an LS1 in mine, makes about 375 hp, and gets 18 mpg, idles so quiet, it sounds stock, cruises down the highway at 2,000 rpm, it's just a treat to drive.
