dont mean to be ignorant, but what makes a good photo essay? i figured out it's basically pictures in chronological order depicting events, but what makes them really good?

i'm not saying my photo essay is incredulous, but in my opinion what makes a good one is great photos, great music, and excellent timing, and obviously some sort of message.

Didn't anyone notice that in the Clinton era, there was diplomacy and peace? North Korea was about to reconcile with South Korea in 2000. That same year Bush got elected.
