  • worst episode of cribs ever :)

  • because energy-saving light bulbs emit less heat you have to turn your heating up to make up for it thus canceling out your energy savings.

They might be handy in the summer though.

  • Rofl... I love Marcus :P

  • longbeachboy57 you are a tool. If you honestly believe that you deserve to be castrated fo the good of evolution.Or is that a liberal conspiracy to? Oh and keep your fox news based opinion away from people who have bains

  • Someone please tell me that longbeachboy57 isn't at all representative of the attitudes and knowledge of a person from the USA. Even if it's not true.

  • Ha.. sooo funny!

  • I don't get it about "saving" water. If you let water run thru your faucet, it just goes back to the lake. Humankind has not used one drop of water since the beginning of time...

  • don't every use the word faucet again

it's an interesting point, but how much of the water that we use is reusable? it's an expensive, long-winded and not completely safe technique we have to use to purify the stuff

  • Thanks for your reply, but what do you mean by "don't ever use the word faucet again"???

  • tap goddamnit, it's tap!

  • Got it :)

  • Water doesn't flow happily from home to "lake" to home again. It has to be pumped which requires power which has to come from a power station somewhere.

Also, water has to be treated which again consumes lots of power, whether that be directly at the water treatment plant or in other plants required to produce the chemicals and components of water treatment.

  • True, but that is a different story than "saving water". Actually, not so true. Circulation and purification uses a small amount of power. I live in a country where 99% of our power comes from hydro and nukes, so no impact what so ever if I shower for a year :)

  • Nuclear power does not exactly have no impact whatsoever. Good points though.

  • This guy is just embarrassing, here.

    Truly awful - trendy-vicar, prince-charles-dancing, suicidally awful.

  • Go to wikipedia and search "irony" and "self-deprecation"

I'd thought the tap bit would've made it obvious enough. Clearly I was mistaken.

  • Superb!

  • Yeah this bloke is funny. Both a compete posh geek and comedy genius at the same time

  • ha ha this is awesome!

Marcus Brigstocke is hilarious, his show, Never Seen Star Wars is great and so was his The world Stands Up performance

At last a comdian whos laughing with the "ecowarriors" instead of laughing them like most of them do because its probably easier.
