Not sure if you could help, but I'm working on a Macro deck and it's really hard to change things up in it because it uses so many old cards and a lot of new stuff doesn't compliment Macro decks too well.
Gemini Winning YCS in September is #1 on my list and my roommate loves Geminis and is looking at rebuilding his Gemini deck seeing how the last one that he had got thrown out of a 3 floor window just after it had rained. seeing this Gemini deck should be able to help him rebuild his deck minus the big cards (Doom, Pot, Warrning).
i was the first person in my locals to run Compulsory and I am still one of the few who loves Divine Wrath. I remember i added Divine Wrath to my deck when Cyber Stein was popular. "I play Stein and use priority to pay 5000 and summon my Cyber End." NOPE i active Divine Wrath. GOODBYE STEIN NO CYBER END 4 U and you still lose 5000 lp" made ppl MAD
Geminis didnt win that even solemn warning and Duality won that event. The "top tier" decks that will win upcoming events will be decks that can utilize POD in the best ways. Also really glad to hear from you again i love the duel school vids
wanted to respond to #3 on ur list. It wasn't like those cards were good back when they were put it, back then most of them were considered trash and rightfully so. Konami can't consider every single old cards interaction with the creation of one new one, so its natural that those cards would become unbalanced when an enabler card was released or the environment was set up that way.
That and that just didn't happen last year either; it happens all the time.
@ANblader001 The cards I brought up, and many more, were 'bad' in their day, and that's why I said it's shocking to realize that cards that were once considered 'bad' to be good later on due to new interactions.
And I realize this didn't just happen this year, however, older cards have had a bigger impact in 2010 then most other years, in my opinion, because of cards like Mass Driver and Royal Tribute being as big as they have become recently.
cards like duality are good in most decks because you dig 3 cards and you pull out key cards that you can use for the turn. But the skill is in what card you choose and when to use duality. sure its 90-100 bucks but if you gave 3 dualities to a noob and sent him off to a regionals, chances are that he isnt topping even though he had a really good card. so skill> expensive cards
#3 was a fantastic point!...i always say you never know what is going to be the next $5 common...i hate when i see people throwing away "garbage" pulls but love it because i get them...an example would be your mentioned 'Royal Tribute' i had kept them and had over 6 to sell recently...haha...great video!...
my opinion on pot of duality is that it is a really good card but is over used. people use three pot of dualities in every deck. i can understand it in a lot of decks, but a lot of decks that are based around special summoning it is a waste. i have seen many people use it just to set a monster afterwards because they could not make a good combo. good card, just over used
@FearitselfxXxX I can see konami reprinting the card and they limiting the sucker down to one due to the extremely severe abuse by players of this card.
@gravekeepersven as can i, i mean they always do that with the money cards, they will let them sell untill they drop a little bit, and then theyw ill limit it, and then reprint it, personally i cant wait so i can get a bunch.
San Jose was won by what???? thats crazy! Im sure that that deck looked liek absolute trash on paper. That just means that Pot of Duality is deff a good card if it allows convoluted combos like Gemini Neos + Hero Blast work well. A++ man.

This was a good video. Though it seems most of the top 5 seems to be the current format. Anything happen before the World tournament in 2010?

Shocking moment #1 Emmersblade is worth how much? For a $70 card it's not even that good.
