I always wanted to try something like this out. I have super sensitive skin and have problems with most soaps and skin creams. I am nursing an awful case of hives right now actually and was wondering if anyone had a good herbal cure for hives. I am a little afraid to try this on my own but i think I might.
I might be late on this, but dandelion tincture (internally) works wonders. Also, try some Nettles infusion (also internally). It contains a natural source of histamine. I had this problem when I was nursing and all it took was some dandelion root tincture.
this is great, I only didn't like how she wiped the last bits of the cream with her finger and put it in the jar... But the rest- superb, Simon, thanks a lot!

I'm so glad you started to call it 'skin cream' instead of just 'cream'. So much less ambiguous and confusing.
BTW, I sense a hints of cynical despair in the tone of voice of the cream maker as if she's experiences a major disappointment in life at some point. Please help her to get her spark back.
