hi I just bought a evga geforce 8800 GTS 640MB, I have a intel dual core 2 duo 2.53GHZ, intel DG965WH motherboard 200 GB HD, 4 GB ddr2 mmry, my power supply is 300W it works ok but my question is: is there any risk for my vid card or computer to keep it working with this power supply? thanx for the info, im not an electronic expert. bye
mmmmmh...maybe yes, maybe not, but i suggest that...if you buy a computer like that you can buy a better powersupply, for 50USS and know that the computer is working in good conditions and you don´t have risks to damage the video card, the mother or anohter part of the computer
if I was you I buy another powersupply to be sure that works OK
hey i have a intel core 2 duo 2.8 GHz, a 450 watt power supply, 1.5 G of RAM, and i think a 250 or 300 gig hard drive, and i am buying the XFX GeForce 8800 GT alpha dog edition graphics card. do you think that will be a good gaming PC? its my first computer that i bought and i want it to be at least decent for gaming, do you think thats good?
wow :o i thought it would lag more with that vid card...maybe im going to buy the 8800 gt too :D

yeap! try to change the power supply, 450w maybe its not sufficient, the 8800GT eat a lot :D
Then, try to update the RAM to 2 gb, the hard disk its good :)

matc2 3 years ago
the game dosn´t give me the option, i can only put "high", i think it was for 2 video cards
totohohoho 3 years ago
yes, the game doestn allow you to put it in very high, but you can download the patch very high for XP, or simply iuse the console commands. Xp
