Do you know that back then when they would tell us that there was a $200 billion deficit, that there was actually a $600 b deficit? Because the federal budget was "borrowing" $400 b from the social security administration that they had in excess payroll tax receipts.
This so called surplus was when the general budget was only running a $250 b deficit, which left the SSA with $150b of surplus. We've "borrowed" over $5 trillion from the SSA.
The reason why liberals got so much power is because way back in 1960s when Soviet Union existed, their ideals subtlely spread into the American politics specifically Democrats and since then when Soviet Union reverted its way back to Russia, its post-communism masqueraded as liberals that believes that govt is the answer to everything the problem arises regarding social, economic, and foreign policies.

As far as the war in Iraq, it is much too complex to summarize in 500 letters. He feels we need to stay there. The US is establishing a government over there and if we were to pull out now it would be the same as poulling the legs out from under the table. How would it look if Australia made a poor decision to take out a leader and just leave the country to rott? Bush wanted to prove a point and put the united states as a leader on the earth. And the US is very capable of filling that role.

Do you know that back then when they would tell us that there was a $200 billion deficit, that there was actually a $600 b deficit? Because the federal budget was "borrowing" $400 b from the social security administration that they had in excess payroll tax receipts.
This so called surplus was when the general budget was only running a $250 b deficit, which left the SSA with $150b of surplus. We've "borrowed" over $5 trillion from the SSA.

As far as the war in Iraq, it is much too complex to summarize in 500 letters. He feels we need to stay there. The US is establishing a government over there and if we were to pull out now it would be the same as poulling the legs out from under the table. How would it look if Australia made a poor decision to take out a leader and just leave the country to rott? Bush wanted to prove a point and put the united states as a leader on the earth. And the US is very capable of filling that role.

I am not here to start a fight; just to elaborate on this Bush issue. George bush did everything he thought was right for his country. He didn't change his mind due to a drop in his ratings. As far as the 11th of September (not the 9th) Bush sent a message. No matter what happens, kids are our future. We will not abandon them or ignore them for anything. That's what I got out of it, at least.

I agree that schools should be dealt with at a local level, but its nice to have help from the goverment when the school's are having such budject problems. I mean, the Hillsboro School's closed in may of 2003 because of budject cuts. goverment help is good.

I love BUSH! He's a strong man and a strong personality that never shakes! He worked under the worst circumstances and yet never relented or gave in. Maybe he broke some of his promises that he had made here, but was he expecting that the WTC and the Pentagon be bombed with US Airplanes? No, he wasn't. His leadership was great and will leave with dignity and honor. He served this great country and led the strongest and biggest Coalition ever built since the World War II. I respect and love him.

We didnt just keep the peace then and we didnt keep the peace when a person has attacked this country 60 years later. By the way this president is one of the best.
