al-qaida and US are same thing, the true sunnis are stuck in the middle of this. they dont want to take sides with any of them, so i beleive this report by aljazeera is over exagerated because all muslims hate US and would not join forces with them.

sunni muslims believe that the ruler of the Muslim state should be elected by the people. Shi'a Muslims believe that the ruler of the Muslims has to be a descendant of Prophet Muhammed. My mom is shi'a and my dad is sunni, we're iraqi. the fighting in iraq has nothing to do with sects. it's about america occupying iraq.

Even bin Laden himself has called on the foreign fighters in Iraq to cease extreme actions, which lead to the division between muslims. It would be nice to know who exactly he's talking to. I assume he has lost control of his franchise in Iraq. if he ever had any. Foreign fighters should align themselves with native Iraqis, like in Bosnia and Chechnya, so they don't run into this type of schism, which assists our enemies, not ourselves.

and Iraqi Sunni just choose the way against Shia Imam.
