i understand your poin-of-view and absolutely agree... i have not read beowulf, but the beowulf character on the "2007" is everything but a virtuous...perhaps the book beowulf is something like Hamlet, a virtued man?

i will... but why do you say that is blasphemous? is a movie that lets you deep trough the medieval spirit, altough it have some stupid scenes... and worth to remember that it is made in 3d studio (a really big job eh?) andantony hopkins was great as the king Hrotgar
