  • What A Bass Singer!

  • Ever heard of "putting on a show"?

  • @LanthanumK Ever heard of the Holy Ghost? Apparently not, let me hint you in. David had the Holy Ghost, and he danced for joy. David says in Psalm 47:1 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph... If your not clapping your hands, or shouting with a voice of triumph, then it's time to receive the Holy Ghost!

  • Go Roy Webb! we miss you!

  • TIm Duncan the best!!!

  • rocking and rolling song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great song, and I due miss Tim Duncan I am sure it was hard to replace him but if anyone can it is Eanie!

  • They lift my heart. Praise the Lord!!! Eorsark88@aol

  • By using the world's tactics to attract people of the world to Christianity, one gradually weakens his Christian witness to the extent that there is no significant difference between Christians and the world (as seen by unsaved people). Why would unsaved get saved if their concerts, worship, fun is the same? EHSS is not always bad: check out their song "Gone" for a more distinctly Christian performance.

  • @LanthanumK Ever heard of "the JOY of the Lord" ?? These guys have joy in their souls and so should YOU! THAT would make you "more distinctly Christian" !!

  • Where did God ever say that we couldn't have fun when we are worshipping Him? There's a time to sing and dance and there's a time to mourn and weep... this is the time to sing and dance. It would appear that you're the only one paying attention to the flesh... I was clapping my hands and stomping my feet to the music. try it, you might just like it.

  • @maltliickey How? Because they're out there singing praise to the Lord and having fun at the same time? They learned from George Younce, JD Sumner and a thousand other solid Christian gospel singers how to do that.

  • @maltliickey David danced before the Lord, so what's your beef?

  • I agree I loves these guys. Best quartet singers around.

  • i can not stop watching these videos.

  • Ernie is such a handsome man. Reminds me of my daddy 30 years ago!

  • What makes anyone think God doesn't like a good rocking rhythm?

  • I Love This Music!! It's Beautiful!!

  • Sacrée voix de basse.......excellent.

  • wow!!! ce basist!!! doamne!! doamne!! binecuvanteza-l!!

  • I think Ernie Hasse was George Younce's (The Cathedrals) son in law. George passed away in 2005.

  • I cant believe that 9 people hit the dislike button on this!!!! These guys are truely A blessing to me. God bless them!!!

  • @jjandkj6567 Oh well I pressed it too. This song represents infiltration into the world, not separation.

  • @LanthanumK Explain.

  • @LanthanumK Please do not condemn or accuse someone of being immoral because of a personal feeling which can not be proven from Scripture. I respect your decision not to listen to music which has a beat, contains multiple instruments, drums or a piano, or where ever it is you draw the line. if it bothers you or gives you immoral thoughts then don't listen to it. but do not label it as sin for then you are making a law based on tradition as the catholics and Pharisees did.

  • Who is the piano player?

  • @lightrays roy webb

  • Hot Gospel, just what we need to get people back on the track to Heaven. Just because we're Christians, doesn't mean we're already dead. These guys are awesome! All their stuff brings me closer to Christ. Great stuff!

  • Ryan, left for a solo career, and Tim left for other reasons, love and prayers to both.

  • Forgive my lack of knowledge but my parents are at an Ernie Haase & Signature Sound concert tonight but is it not the original line up?.

Did they split up on bad terms or something?.

    Thanks for any info.

  • we are gonna miss you tim!

  • oh my god; I wanna cry I miss you tim, for me teh best bass singer that I ever heard. God bless you

  • Who wouldn't be happy listening to this!?!? Awesome job guys!!

  • sad that he has to leave the group!=(

  • On you tube type in Ernie Haase & Signature Sound (My Heart is a Chapel/Boundless Love) 01-21-11 to see the new bass singer. It was his first concert with Ernie and the boys. Tim will be missed. Let's all wish him luck and Ernie's new bass singer is really going to need a lot of luck.

  • @Sandraz1634 agree... too bad Tim left, without him and Doug and Roy, they are history... never tought a group will ever end that low

  • @hugedell well Devin is absolutely brilliant as lead and is into the dancing like Doug & Ernie so if he is excellent then Ian the new bass will also be great. I definitely miss Roy & Timmy but they will continue on :)

  • Not sure when Tim left but the first concert with the new bass singer Ian Owens with Ernie and the group was 1-21-11 just the other day. He is not as good as Tim was but he sure does have some big shoes to fill. I am wondering why did Tim have to leave. Ernie's group just isn't the same.

  • wow!

  • When did Tim leave ?

  • So sad that Tim has left. His replacement Iain Owens has a lot to live up to!

  • I would rather watch all the gospel music on You Tube than watch TV. Praise the Lord.

The music in Heaven will be awesome

  • I'm curious what Tim sounds like in real live. Is is voice the same when he talks? That would be awesome!!

  • @BudgetSlayer : he's got a real close voice when he talks.... impressive btw

  • @hugedell Doug didn't leave, Ryan left.

  • the should have taken Wesley with them to sing second tenor, after Doug left...

  • has anyone else noticed that Tim slides in towards the guys at 2:40 its awesome! x

  • @twostoriesandasong thats a long slide he does lol

  • "Desk dancing" for Jesus here at the library! :)

  • i love tim <3

  • Glenn Dustin, thats a bass singer.

  • Tim reminds me of a younger Tommy Lee Jones...

  • @o0brebre0o YES!!!! I'm glad somebody else noticed that! LOL. Tim has always reminded me of a young Tommy Lee Jones. Only cuter! LOL.

  • very nice

  • LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.....

  • This kind of song makes me proud to call myself a bass singer

  • Comment removed

  • @Theozland Pretty stupid comment since they are all married. Even IF they were gay, so what? Your gaydar needs adjusting.

  • @Gizmologist09 Like that means anything, ha.

  • @LuxieP your point?

  • I love this song... specially the bass... I love that..

  • Love this song. An old song The Statesmen used to sing.

  • thanks for posting this

  • Maan... Tim Duncan will be a bass better than Tim Riley.. In his youth, Riley didn't have this vocal perfection that Duncan has... Amazing...

  • Gah, I love Tim Duncan, he's a great bass singer.

  • HOT HOT HOT

  • Definitely Happy Rythm!!!!!!!!

  • Great! But I'm gonna miss Ryan :'(

  • super tari... favoriti...

  • Wow.

  • praise god

  • WHAT A BASS SINGER!

  • Comment removed

  • man he is great

  • Thank You EH&SS. Truely awesome !!!

  • Whats so great about them? Well, for starters, they love the Lord. They have a great talent and they have chosen to use it for the glory of God instead of for any cecular profit. Think about it. They could probably make millions if they weren't gospel singers.

  • Well that's what i said about them...until last night when i heared them live in Debrecen....when you hear them live it's completly something else....they are really great!!!

  • what do you think about yourself? just go and do it after them.. I'm really curious about you. They have got the biggest talent in the world.. they're awesome

  • there good

  • Roy does a great job on the piano

  • Terrific sound....love it !!

sounds a bit like crash test dummies at times..

  • I definitly agree with JeriRose 2. Ernie really has the moves.I call him 'HAPPY FEET." lOVE THIS SONG! If this one song doesn't get you moving, shame on you!

  • Is it just me, or does someone else wonder when they are going to get to the "dancing"?

  • OK, I'm not sure where that comment about the old groups is and how they were the real deal. Sorry, if posted to wrong person.

Anyway, this song was originally done by the Statesmen Quartet, with Big Chief Worthington and Hovie Lister on piano. That video is up here, too.

  • bigmrclean, what's up with calling your brothers morons and referring to buttholes? I thought you were saying that these groups are less than Christian. How are your comments lining up with correct Christian behavior? Jesus said whoever calls his brother a fool (moron) is worthy of hell fire (Matthew 5:22). You need to take a chill pill.

I will find out who originally sang this song, and you will be surprised. I believe it was one of the old time groups you say were the real deal.

  • Super, I'm sorry to hear that you've given up on being a Christian. I agree that Christians can be their worst enemies for the very reason you stated, but you can't blame other people for your disbelief in God. The Bible tells us not to put our trust in man, but only in the one true God. Man can't save you. If other people are making you walk away from your eternal salvation, then you need to walk away from them and really sit down and study the true and living Word.

  • we love your music. Do more like this one and Stand by Me. It's so exactly that christians can get blessed and the world doesn't have all the good music. Keep going. You are such a blessing. We love you, come to Edmonton, Alberta.

  • Boy it's great to see the love of god in the so called christians making the comments...wonderful..makes me real glad that I am no longer part of this, and that's exactly the reason I am no longer a christian...thanks for confirming that I made the right decision.

  • How bout we all quit arguing and griping at each other and get back to listening to the music and worshipping with it. I don't know about y'all but that's why I watch their videos.

  • Sorry, your right its all about God. It's just that some kids today are soooo disrespectful.

  • you got that rite the some part

  • You have already embarrassed yourself. You own a business, autos big deal. The problem is youre holding yourself out to know more about singing and playing then one of the most popular Southern Gospel Groups now singing. Its ok not to like Southern Gospel but you need to know what youre talking about when it comes to how or where they perform. You also want to tell the rest of us that they do not have any right to dance and praise the Lord in their own way. Who died and made you god?

  • What is it the fact that they are doing something good for God or not the way you want it done. The numbers can not be wrong. By the way they do sing in sancturary at least in Houston. I think that is the 4th largest in the US so what would that make you. Small town small ideas.

  • Good thing they have you-tube...It has all the old stuff that you can view and actually see what gospel music is suppose to sound and be like.

  • I agree 100%!!! Whatever happened to honoring Christ and "having church". Maybe that's the problem; SG has separated from the "church" and it's all done in theaters and concert halls now. Give me the old style SG or small local groups that are interested in serving God and not mammon!!! I'd much rather hear someone snot and cry while sharing their testimony and what God has done for them over this "song and dance routine" any day!!!

  • AMEN TO THAT BROTHER!....The numbers can't be wrong? Yeah lets see how many tickets we can sell or you-tubers we can get! He's right the numbers aren't wrong! They tell you who's the real deal and not just a bunch of dancing show off chickens! Anybody that takes up for this CRAP is no better off!

  • Ah now now your just a kid who knows nothing. I took a peak. I would say you never saw one of the old groups. Small town music person who could not even touch this group.

  • Like I said...another moron. Go dance on stage with this premadana's. Never saw one of the old groups? I've been playing and singing on a stage with other people since I was big enough to walk. Why I'm even debating this with someone who doesn't know music from their butthole I don't know...Oh wait I"m NOT.

  • See all these ignorant people that follow these people?

  • Comment removed

  • Your 20 something and I have socks older than you. I went to your site and you can not sing or pick...so we know what your problem is...they have made it big and you are nobody and never will be. You are the hick with no education and no money who is mad a the anyone who is better smarter and more talented than you. I have been to many Southern Gospel concerts and you could not hold a candle to any of them. It is a fact poor picker without a music ear..so sad.

  • Any one can say anything about themselves here. So...If I need a Chem eng I will look you up I am sure your one of the best. When it comes to getting people into the Kingdom of Heaven then we both should be at the work not giving each other about how it is to be done. What is church? It may blow your mind but it is NOT what you think that is important!! Church has not saved one soul. Now SG may have so shut up and let them go about Gods work. Again I am much older so learn, you need it.

  • Ernie and Sig.Sound are just great! their hearts are truly in it, and God Bless them all.

  • Man i love These Guys So much They Came To my church Ha Ha i love the Bass guy The best =)

  • How can anyone listen to this and not get the spirit and want to dance? I used to go with my grandparents to the old time singings all over the south, and many groups moved back then, just not as much. This group brings back some of the most happy memories of my life.

  • I love this song:X:X:XTim Duncan have an absolutely wonderfoul voice:X:X:Xdar nu se ridica la George Younce:(

  • Sunt de acord cu tine, rebecutas! Still, this is the best version of the song I've heard so far! ;)

  • Both man, both, we are no serving a boring God, we are serving a great God who gave us JOY, because He Is Joy, Why not to share the Joy of the Lord to everyone.

  • And doesn't the Bible say that David danced to the glory of the Lord?

  • Yeap, Absolutely, same as the signature sound do, dancing for His glory.

  • I agree with you, but actually, Gold City kind of sounds like they are moving away from it a bit too!

  • Psalm 150 NIV: Praise the LORD. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with tambourine and DANCING, praise Him with the strings and flute, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.

  • Yup...Agreed 110 percent. There is a fine line there. You can tell when it's a show boat and this is what most of it is. Most people don't have the balls to say that or even agree. Especially when u say this and then someone quotes scripture everytime u say it. They gather around the piano show off him and jump around the stage like a buncha monkies. They put the quartets of yesterdays music like the blackwood brothers.....jd sumner...they sang..no showboatin...but whatever..music is longgone

  • where can i find the words ore the note of the wonderful song ?

  • Love it, this is one of my favorites. I have most all of their DVDs. Thanks for posting this video.

  • love it.. I love Eh&SSQ. Great Christian Outreach oppurtunity. Our kids would love this too if they had the oppurrtunity. As parents, lets give our kids the oppurtunity. Lets buy tickets and we can do some bonding. Lets make memories. Who knows. God work in mysterious ways

  • love it.. I love Eh&SSQ. Great Christian Outreach oppurtunity

  • i love this, and the dancing around just comes with the territory, i lead the worship at my church and when the spirit starts to movin u can't help but to move around!

  • perryhelen53

These guys have God-given talent. I hope that will always use it for the Lord's use.

I don't like the dancing around because it is going comtempary. Ernie knows how his father-in-law was and yes, there was times George joked around. Just don't let it go too far. God never changes. Only the world.

  • I lik this song.

  • This is Southern Gospel at its' finest. Thank you so much EH&SS. You guys ROCK!!!

  • I love this Quatert, period.

  • Ok, I am just sayin', Tim is gorgeous. I love hearing his deep voice...such an awesome bass singer! <3

  • i love this video...its amazing

  • who is iehova?

  • veri vri good

  • klasse musik. das schlimme ist, dass ich kein englisch kann. aber ich bekomme mit, dass es den jung´s spass macht und das eine klasse form ist gott anzupreisen, die uns deutschen leider nur zu großen anlässen einfällt.

  • JUST EXELENT

  • i wish they sang this at the concert i went to!!

  • I have this DVD & this is about my favorite song on it, although they are all good! Thanks for sharing with everyone.

  • This is one of the best groups in gospel music today, they are a great group.

  • Oh yeah....love this. I have this DVD & this song is just too much fun. These guys just make you feel good.

  • Tim's Voice is Fantastic!!!

I wish I could sing like that,

Im sure all of people think like-wise ay!!

  • Tim is the man!

  • don't you just love that voice....Tim has got the sound that just rocks the house!!!!!

  • Christ in you true happiness!!!!!!!!

  • Wesleys addition is fantastic too.

He´s a great singer at the HC Concerts !!!

  • I am not a teenager anymore, you know

but these 4 guys drive me absolutely

crazy. Can´t sit still when they appear

on screen. Since the concert it is even

worser ...... but it feels sooo good.:-)

I simply love this guys !!!

  • it's happy hours sometimes

  • i love this video...its amazing

  • Gosh, it's infectious... I can't get tired of it ! "There's a happy rhythm, it's a rockin' and rollin', I can feel it movin' when I'm singing this song; what a thrill to feel it

movin' on, and never stoppin'; deep within my heart, it keeps a rollin' and a rockin',

rollin and a rockin' and rockin' and a rollin', it's a happy rhythm in my soul!" Ah, one more time!

  • What an amazing performance by Tim. He is such an amazing man. He can do it just as well as anyone else!

  • He sounds like George on this song too

  • can anybody tell where church are they from, i mean they are pentecostal adventist evangelist or what???

  • They're Christian! They're messengers from the LORD...with Jesus, and the awesome sound, they help folks like me keep a happy feeling in my heart, and my heart light!

I'm from the mountains, and Brother/Sister, they sound GREAT! They are as necessary as a PREACHER...they teach us with song!

Ernie Hasse and Sig Sound have a big following here in eastern KY, and Hey, you can't go through a day without hearing someone humming or singing one of their songs!

    Thanks Guys,

    David

  • Actually, reading the Bible, you will never find music, as powerful as it is, being used as a tool of ministering or teaching as you said. It is a powerful tool of enlightenment, but it was never used to teach people or lead people to Christ. And as great as some singers are, no one comes close to the importance of a preacher.

  • someone got it right. well said. 2nd Timothy 4:5.

  • I agree, a preacher full of the spirit is very moving. How ever, I personally have learned and retained more from listening to singers like these guys minister thru song than by simply reading the bible.....

  • what pslams??

  • They are Southern Baptist

  • um... i know ernie is a southern baptist but idk about the rest of the guys. ernie used to go to my church!! along time ago. i was like a baby. well like 2. he used to come to our church when he wasn't touring and he'd play with me in the nursery or whatever. he's a cool guy. :)

  • Love the video, but, Ernie, what's with the short tie??? Are you trying to look as short as the rest of the quartet (ha, ha, ha!)???

  • Great clip...love how they include Wesley too! These guys are great!

  • this is another favorite song from this fabulous, awesome, inspiring group.....thank god for the cathedrals and ernie who was the basis for this group

  • AMEN!!! to that!

Thanks for George Younce for giving Ernie the inspiration to start up his own group!!!!

  • What a great rendition of this old song. I love to see people excited about the Lord! Salvation brings joy.

  • Hmmm...David praised the Lord in the dance and David was a man after God's heart.

  • JOCHMA2007.........I can see you have no good sense of REALLY AWESOME GOSPEL MUSIC. These 4 guys are praising god and having a blast doing it. you obviously know NOTHING about great music. These four guys are one of the best things that has come to southern gospel music. Keep on singing guys!!!!! This person has no idea what they are talking about!

  • They ARE praising God through music!!!!

    I love how they sing!!
