i can't believe it we have a mac fanboy using a old slow hp laptop with his fast mac making the comparison unreliable. fuck you mac fanboy get a faster laptop that will compare with the mac. shit my pc is a 5.40 ghz proccesor with 14 gigs of ram beat that bitch. now lets compare your mac with my laptop PC
Apple looks faster cuz of it"s operating system and windows 7 is kinda laggy even though u have the latest 2nd generation core i processors. Bt one thing for sure that power and performane is always better with windows pc. And apple"s operating system cant play all games, for that reason they have boot camp.
@alekloock You cant really compare computers just using boot up. For example my dv6 with i5 and hd5650 combo boot XP 18secs + 12secs on W7. W7 is better but slightly slower. Fresh installment on the same OS type would give u some legit results.
wait, i have a hp pavilion dv9700ea and hp do not recommend upgrading the model (including the model in the video) to upgrade it to windows 7 because they wont release any drivers for it.
This is an INCREDIBLY biased comparison. The HP laptop is a few years older than the MacBook Pro, which is a fairly powerful laptop by todays standards.
If it was two similar powered laptops, one Mac one Windows, the comparison would make FAR more sense.
Hi, I've got a 2+ year old windows computer and a brand new mac and I'm just going to talk about how the new computer is better than the older one. But it's obviously because the new one is a mac, not because the windows PC is old. I'm all for comparisons but lets at least get a reasonable one going here. The new HP Envys are the closest thing that comes to mind.
Thats not an i5 HP, most likely it's one of the crappy AMD Turion X2's and 2GB of RAM that was upgraded to Windows 7. This video is completley misleading and miserably retarded. It's like comparing a Mustang to a Porche or Ferrari. BTW HP's have a long line of poor build quality issues.
I was considering getting a imac pro, but saw hp pavlilion was offering the same i5 thing, so I assumed it would have been the same.. just a lower price
I'm leaning more and more towards mac.
Was hoping for more comparisons than just a start up. Curious about the i5 thing over all
your an idiot

Old HP pavilion sucks, newer ones rule. Also macs OS is so simply made that its offcourse faster, windows is much more sophisticated and smarter.

Hp envy 14 would beat the shit out of MacBook Pro.
1GB graphics card vs 256MB MacBook Pro
8GB of RAM
750GB 7200rpm Hard Drive
2.66 GHZ Core i5
Backlit Keyboard
All for under 1300 dollars.

@xXoMFGItsJaCKXx I haven't had any problems with my HP. My amazing processor gives a rich experience with Windows 7.

The HP I'm on has a Intel Core i5 2.53GHz with turbo boost up to 2.8GHz so mine is faster than your Mac LoL
DarthCaboose2321 10 months ago
@alekloock Ghz does not matter as a 2.10 i3 can blow away 2.10 ghz pentinum when both are dual core
