The Old Testament said that the people of Israel would be scattered all over the Earth, and it also said that one day that the nation of Israel would be a nation again. Okay, yeah, Jesus never explicitly said,"Im God." But if Jesus is not saying He's God, what do you think He's saying when He speaks in these verses.. John 8:58 "Before Abraham was, I am." John 12:45 "For when you see me, you are seeing the One who sent Me." or John 10:30 "The Father and I are one." Jesus DID say He's God. Why else did the Jews kill Him? They claimed He was blaspheming, and to do that, He had to have said He is God.

Hey everybody!So the Trinity can be confusing..Someone said it like this.God is one being,but there is three distinct personalities,God the Father,God the Son and God the Holy Spirit,but theyre still the same being.Now just because our brains cant comprehend it,doesnt mean that it cant be true.Like God being eternal,that is hard to comprehend,to understand,it just doesnt make sense,but that doesnt mean its not true.The Trinity is not something we have to understand,just trust that God knows.

If he was the father, then why was he crying out in vain to himself? He was obviously crying out to God, the same way many of us would if we were dying in agony the way he did. And it is a fact Jesus raised from the dead. He died, and three days later He rose from the dead. Then He appeared to His disciples, then He appeared before 500 people, and they all saw he was alive. And the Gospels even line up with what nonchristian historians recorded. Josephus is one of them. Jesus raising from the dead was not a hoax, if it was His disciples would not have allowed themselves to be killed for His name sake... And all of science hasnt been proven,its still a bunch of theories

Also, I would say prophecy is a miracle. The Old Testament said that the people of Israel would be scattered all over the Earth, and it also said that one day that the nation of Israel would be a nation again. Okay, yeah, Jesus never explicitly said,"Im God." But if Jesus is not saying He's God, what do you think He's saying when He speaks in these verses.. John 8:58 "Before Abraham was, I am." John 12:45 "For when you see me, you are seeing the One who sent Me." or John 10:30 "The Father and I are one." Jesus DID say He's God. Why else did the Jews kill Him? Don't mistake this as ignorance though, I attend a catholic college, have friends of many different religions and cultures, and if there was some solid evidence that the universe was indeed created by a god then i would admit I was incorrect.

When Moslems (or Jews or New Age writers for that matter) say the Gospels do not report Jesus making divine claims, they can only do so by omitting or distorting the NT. If he was the father, then why was he crying out in vain to himself? He was obviously crying out to God, the same way many of us would if we were dying in agony the way he did. He spoke of "My father in Heaven" as a separate entity, because he was not God, but only a messenger, why is this so hard to accept?

The Holy Trinity is difficult to understand. I myself have tried to understand it my entire life but its difficult for me too. Jesus proved that He was sent from God because He was born from a virgin. His mother was a virgin. The flesh of Jesus was not God, His Spirit is/was. He was not a trinity and never was. Jesus' name means "Jehovah has become Salvation" He was God manifest in "flesh" (God made substance). 1 Timothy 3:16-17(KJV) 16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Besides if Jesus (pbuh) was God then you're saying that humans killed God and God was dead for three days, then resurrected...God does not need to become human. In the Bible, the book of Hebrews Chapter 2 verse 7, it talks about Jesus who was in FULL Glory with the Father, came down a little lower that the angels so we can do the will of the Father. God is One who exists in 3 persons ( not separate entities but persons meaning an intellect, a will, and emotions). Why must some religions try to disprove others to show their religion is the only way? Is the information provided by the Qu'ran not enough? I never hear of anything talking about why Buddhism, Scientology or most other religions are wrong. @wali1576 No, not neccessarily. But the thing is the Messiah is God. Jesus Christ IS God. Matthew 24:4-5 talks about how He, Jesus, is the Messiah, and John 8:58 is Jesus saying that He is God. So no, just because He is the Messiah doesn't mean He's God. But He is God too.

I mean, you know, if you look at the pictures, and you go pray, you're prob picturing that picture of Jesus. Then, in a way you're making the picture of Jesus like an idol. Now, its not a sin to have pics of Him up, you know it could also serve as a reminder to spend time w God. But people just need to be so careful about, are they worshipping God, or worshipping the statue that people

God can and did work a miracle. Mary became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit, so in fact, it's acknowledging the power of God, not denying it.. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.
